Absolutely. It would be tricky, because they would have to move the green houses and clear out the junk in the graveyard. But in my opinion this plot of land would be great for a giga
They could move the employee lot to the blue space and then the current lot is the giga twister thing but only the park knows. I'm not gonna go further you guys do you about the coasters thoughts.
It would be cool if they purchased some land across the street and moved the employee parking lot. That would open a large amount of room for a new themed area. Time will tell

It acts as a sound barrier (somewhat) for that subdivision. In my opinion that’s why we’ve never seen a coaster on that side of the park (Roaring rapids area through Goliath. It’s the part of the park that’s closest to where people live.

That's what i was thinking about the residents being there, just didn't say anything because people get heated when i say it's not very possible for a giga
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back

This still looks cool tho
Oh yeah this will be awesome once its complete.
As far as the giga goes. There is definitely room. They could build a new storage building in the wooded area as seen in the picture and demo the old building and that would open up a plot of land almost the size of Hurricane Harbor and the neighbors would be far enough away that no legal challenge would stand. They could build the worlds first giga twister like they did with the first hyper twister
They could always demolish American Eagle for a giga, but I personally completely oppose that idea and hope it never happens.

So they are most likely building a top golf out here. I wished that we had the land across the highway like proposed years ago. They would have been able to do so much with that land.

Wish Six Flags didn't make dumb decisions in the 2000s, they wouldn't have ended up selling the land

Plus I believe we would have seen Holiday in the Park more frequently. Something about being really cold out and being at a theme park just warms my spirit.
If they went up to Great Wolf Lodge with a fat stack a cash and bought it, i would be satisfied, I don't really like Great Wolf Lodge, and i know Great America had a good relationship with Keylime cove before they got bought out by Great Wolf Lodge.

Another great option. I never understood why they haven’t put that offer together. Especially during the turnover between key lime and great wolf. Pretty sure it wasn’t a take over due to a merger.

I have no idea what happened but I think Great America could benefit buying it, Great Escape gives Six Flags a lot of money especially in the off season, i don't see why Great America can't do the same

Looks like they are moving Kingda ka on over to the deserved location…. [emoji18] okay, one could hope. I love TTD/TT2.
Intimidator 305 (Pantherian) would easily fit if the existing storage buildings were demolished and relocated to the wooded area in the employee parking lot.

A Giga can definitely fit.
JackGlass - Nice work (as usual) with your overlay and coaster placement!
I literally just rode Project 305 (formerly Intimidator 305, but NOW Pantherian!) in July! I can't believe they're renaming it AGAIN!
Single Day Ride Count Record
50 rides 8/17/2018 (Without Flash Pass - Coasters After Dark)

Cool, but where does the employee lot go? lmao

Nowehere lol. They would have to demolish those buildings in the back and rebuild in the wooded area. That would literally open up a plot of land that is almost the size of Hurricane Harbor.
Thank you Coaster Rider SC. I have a feeling Cedar Fair will definitely make Great America great again!

Yeahhhh they're not doing this, keep dreaming bud

Based on what? You saying so? This coming from the same person who wants the park to revert back to how it was 50 years ago.
Tear down V2 to build a light house, Remove the go karts to rebuild a looney tune kids area that closed due to unpopularity, bring back a theater that closed down due to unpopularity, bring back sky whirl which was scrapped almost 25 years ago. You're the one talking about dreaming?
Cedar Fair spent almost $150 million on capital improvements for Carowinds. I think spending a couple mil on a new storage building to open up acres of land at one of their biggest cash cows isn't that farfetched.
Let me guess. They can't touch those storage buildings because they're from the Marriott era right?
The sign for Drizzle Cheesecakes was taken down after two short seasons. It has presumably closed.
Never got to try the cheesecake, and from the looks of it, not many others did either. I only counted three people in the history of my time at the park eating them, all in a group. They looked pretty huge, but who goes to a theme park for cheesecake?

Wish i got to try it, but it probably was expensive
