Let’s freaking go! Hopefully the park can get both sides racing either next year or for Fright Fest. I will take alternating though since I can at least ride Red Side.

Where did you get this info?

Just curious- how credible do you think that is? I had a trip out to CGA planned in September, but that park has some time left. I think I'd pivot to GADv just to get to Chang/Green Lantern.
Apologies for late response but I've heard it through several people, many who work at the park, so obviously take it with a grain of salt, I have reason to believe in what my friends tell me but it obviously does not confirm anything, but I would bet money on these rumors
That being said, the comment about it moving over here was just a joke poking fun references to previous rumors of it's arrival here.
Some time, on way to successful, first of steps of all of the steps to being successful steps are hardest of all of the steps to successing.
If Chang gets removed, it's gonna go to a dumping ground (Looking at you, La Ronde/America)
No way it SFGAm gets a 20+ year old Coaster. Even if it is B&M.
As for the rumor itself, I find it pretty believable. Green Lantern hasn't been very popular at Sfgadv, especially as of recent.
And when it comes to the previous rumors of us getting Chang a decade ago, those weren't just rumors. We came dangerously close to actually getting it. For one, pieces of it started to arrive at the park. I remember when I worked there you could see the base of the lift track piece behind the fence by eagle. I believe at least one train was also there.
The zoning board meeting revealed how it was going to be layed out in the parking lot what is now riptide bay.
Personally, I wish we got Chang all those years ago. I never have visited the Riptide Bay area of HH besides to get my singular ride on Tsunami Surge, which could have been placed in the Wahoo Racer plot. That was years ago though, so there's no reason worrying about it now.
That being said, I'm placing my next bets for the next thrill coaster after Rak being in the Dive Bomber/Mega Wedgie/Wipeout plot. There's a good 46,223 ft of space using just the slides or 81,750 ft if the park wants to use the activity pool. Granite, we'll probably receive a family coaster in either Kidzopolis or Camp Carstrewn/Snoopy before, but I'm talking about a thrill coaster.

No, we still need that Looney Tunes area first, we're not throwing them to the side for snoopy especially since again, they have been there since the start
Give them some recognition
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back
I was looking at those drop slides on google Earth and they could easily fit a monster Ferris wheel in that plot of land. I definitely wouldn't mind that right at the front of the park.
I can definitely believe the rumor about Chang being removed. Because as a stand up, it sucks. Great Adventure could convert it to a floorless, but they already have Medusa
I would personally welcome it to Great America. But only if it was converted to a floorless.
As far as Bugs Bunny goes. in my opinion It's long overdue for one of those kids areas to get the Bugs bunny treatment. I would personally go with Kidzopolis

The management has already said that the parks will maintain their identities. Legacy SF Parks will stay Looney Tunes, Legacy CF Parks will stay with The Peanuts.
Why do we need to keep reiterating this?

There's a very obvious reason why the new management wants to keep the Intellectual Properties tied to each park.
Let's use an example. Say you are Warner Brothers and you own the IP to the Looney Tunes and license it out to Six Flags for use in their parks. Then Six Flags modifies that contract for adding DC Characters. (also owned by Warner) Now that Six Flags has merged with Cedar Fair it doesn't just nulify that contract, nor does it open any doors for the new merged company to start mixing IP's.
The Peanuts IP is owned by three different entities: WildBrain, Sony Music, and the Schulz family. In order for The Peanuts and Looney Tunes to co-exist in ANY park there would need to be an agreement between all parties. Most companies that lease out and Intellectual Property do not want to have a competing IP in the same place.
This should be blatantly obvious. Now could they potentially mix IP's some time in the future? Sure, but good luck getting Warner, Wildbrain, Sony, and The Schulz family to all play ball.

Well i'm not the one asking Snoopy to be in the parks so don't be looking at me

Overall a fan of chaperone policy, but it's sad it has had come to this point. It's only as good as it is enforced though, we'll see what measures they take inside the park.

I feel like every other Six Flags park does ERT events except ours, when was our last non ride opening ERT? Great Adventure has Thrill-A-Thon, Over Georgia and Over Texas have coasterfest, heck even SFStL has an enthusiast event, can't we get tossed a cookie? How about something like "Coastapalooza"?

So I was just looking at pricing of the fast lane season pass and found it funny that six flags charges basically 300.00 for a all season (six flags parks only fast past) whereas Cedar Point charges 1000.00 (cedar fair parks only). Looking at Kings Island it’s 800.00. Previous years, I know fast lane at cedar fair parks has been better. Seems like a huge gap between pricing.

I've been thinking about this lately as well. You even forgot to mention Roller Coaster Rodeo, one of, if not the best coaster events out there. Loop in the Cedar Fair parks and you have parks like CP and KI with events as well. Heck, Dorney has even put on some solid events lately.
And not necessarily an event, but a handful of CF parks do early entry for passholders, sometimes daily. Would be nice to see something like this even.

Surely it couldn't be due to lack of interest? There was actually recently a dinner event for a SFGAm fans facebook page but it was just dinner, no ERT, and there was like 200 attendees! Maybe management doesn't like coaster people?
