Hello I’m looking into getting the season flash pass. I go to GA around 30-40 days a year. Anyone have experience with it? What one to get? When it’s on sale?
Works exactly as you think. You log in to the new website they use and then claim benefits. Once that's done you have access all day. Your pass must be scanned when you enter the park for it to work, so you can't "share" it. You can add people to your group by paying, a d you can also combine groups if multiple people have the flash pass active.
I was annoyed last year though because during Fright Fest there were rides that were one shot only and even when it wasn't fright fest Sky Striker was always a one shot only.
You missed the biggest sale they have for them which is always around Labor Day. They were 70% off so now you’ll pay for it normal price. I got mine during the sale and got the national platinum all parks for only $300. Now it’s $1,000!! The ultimate for just our park is $500 and the premium is $400
I have the national platinum. There are some weekdays where it's not all that useful, but there are other weekdays where it really helps. Of course it's great on weekends

I don think they ever do sales on the all season flash pass except for Labor Day and this season I’m expecting that will no longer be a thing as cedar fair never offers sales on theirs.

Yes I have all season flash, during the sale I got them for about $250 each. The price to add a person for a day is the usual flash pass pricing for the park. That price usually depends on tier and time of season.
So say you bought an all season platinum. If you want to add a person, they would pay the price of Platinum for that day.
Ultimate (previously I referred to this as Platinum) reduces wait by 90%, the lower tier by 50%. The National one is for all legacy SF parks at the Ultimate level only.
You would have to buy one all season flash for each season passholder.
Here's how it works when you have it:
You would follow this process each time you enter the park. This website will only let you activate if the pass was scanned on entry to the park.
- Go to this website using your phone after entering the park: https://gr.sfflashpass.com/# - Tap the Hamburger Menu (left) - Tap "Start Here" or "Login" - Tap Hamburger Menu again after Logging in. - "Activate Services" - Season Pass/Member Benefits. - Paste or enter the Season Pass Number you have the all season flash on and your last name. If you have more than one, you can add multiple here. - Submit. - On the home page, your all season flash will appear, tap that and activate it. Once that's done it's ready to go. - Reserving a ride is really straightforward, so I won't go into detail on that.
I can't really give good examples or screenshots because the pass is unavailable during the off season, so I'm just pulling this from memory.

Don’t count on a sale happening anytime soon. In the past the only time it was on sale was the Labor Day sale when new passes for the next year are launched. And now that Cedar Fair is running the show I don’t see it ever being on sale again unfortunately but I hope I am wrong.

The first time I got All Season (2023) I did Gold. It was fine but ultimately that experiment only lasted one year and then I upgraded.
The thought process was that a lot of the reservation time would be killed by waiting in line, riding, and then walking to the ride. For example, you scan your pass at Raging Bull, and you immediately book your next time for let's say X-Flight. X-Flight is posted at 30 minutes, so your reservation time is 15 minutes away. You then wait 5-10 minutes in line for Raging Bull after the merge, 5 more minutes to ride, and then a 5-10 minute walk to X-Flight. By the time you get there your reservation is ready. Rinse and repeat.
It didn't always work out nicely like that though. The merge points can vary - rides like Viper or Dark Knight you could be waiting 20+ minutes between when you scan and when you get on the ride. Rides like Maxx Force and Superman you are usually on the next train.
Then there are the busier days. You can take the same Raging Bull to X-Flight scenario I explained above, but instead of a 30 min wait, let's say it's 60 minutes. By the time you get to X-Flight after your Raging Bull ride, you might have to wait around 10-15 minutes until your reservation is ready.
Of course, you can do other things during that time like eat or just walk or wait in line for something else. But ultimately I got tired of just waiting for my reservations. Plus with the highest tier you unlock the ability to marathon rides.

Makes sense since Cedar fair only offered 2 levels of their Fast Lane. I’m sure we we will see more things that will be come more streamlined to match what cedar fair has done as well.
