This is the worst take I've seen on this forum in a while.
I’m expecting dudes to come in and post how awesome and comfortable they think the ride is.
And lol you’ve said you’ve got advice. I state that I’ve already tried your advice and it doesn’t matter. And yes I already posted my results.
And now you state it’s the worst take ever on this forum. Come on dude that’s reasonable. You’re just taking a shot at me because you don’t like my take.

1 - I don't care about your "results". Did you bring measurement tools on the ride with you to determine the ride is rough? no? Then it's just your opinion, and one I really don't give a damn about. Maybe you're taller, maybe you weigh more than me. I can't understand without knowing more where your "roughness" comes from.
2 - I said worst take in a while, not overall. Because it legitimately is. Comparing X-flight to say a 30+ year old Batman isn't even remotely close. I can barely ride Batman anymore without leaving with a major headache.
"I've been told that some part of every wish will be heard but lately I lost sight of the truth in those words."
I'm not the biggest X-Flight Fan, but even i don't think it's rough at all. Just.... kinda there, though i don't think it will be the next coaster to be removed, probably later down the line though
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back

1. Pain isn’t an opinion. I’m aware you “don’t really give a damn.” But just beucase of that doesn’t give you the right to Gate Keep.
2. Your “opinion of my post being the worst take” is just that. Your opinion. And it has zero merit. Sorry to hear Batman gives you a headache. I’ve given you my height and weight for context. What’s yours?
There’s a reason the ride isn’t as popular as the rest of the coasters in the park. Point of me posting about it is to theorize that because of the pain caused by it to me and others, that could be the reason. You want to nitpick words and opinions fine, that’s your choice.
Dismissing my claims of pain as opinion come off as Gate Keepy. Just like how you say my post is the worst one you’ve seen here in a while. You wanna defend it to the death, also your prerogative. If you disagree cool. But to take shots? Yeah come on dude.
I gave you my height and weight. Not sure how that doesn’t count as context.
Is the roughness people experience on X-Flight the way the train seems to bounce on the track? I don’t find the ride “rough” but I feel a bounce entering the inline twist and the final helix. If this is the “rough” people are experiencing on new B&Ms then I can handle that.
There he goes again, stating "worst post". Again, not what I said. I said "worst take".
For those not informed, like this dude, a "take" is a statement or opinion. I'm merely stating my disdain for it because it's objectively dumb. Dude needs some experience on some actual rough rides.

I started 4/16/2022 day off by riding X-Flight 15x consecutive! I was 51 yo then.
I rode it 10x on 7/30/2024 (age 53) to pick up my 300th career X-Flight ride! The last 7x were consecutive.
I seriously don't understand 2 things: 1) "The ride is not popular": it usually has a decent line on a mildly busy day. I've seen lines out the queue on really busy days. The only time there's no line is right before closing but almost all other rides not named Maxx Force are that way as well.
2) "The ride is rough": I guess we have to define what "rough" means! I admit there's a small "bounce" on the track going into the Inline twist. But that's really all I ever notice. I ride back row outer right on over 90% of my rides on X-Flight. I'm 54 now and I still don't find the ride rough at all. I have 325 total rides on it.
Lastly, that final right turn after the inline twist is pure joy for me and it's a major reason I typically ONLY ride the right side, unless I'm with someone who wants to experience the left side.
P.S. X-Flight is my overall FAVORITE ride of any park and I've got 209 coaster credits

We get it we get it, you’re nitpicking “words” again. Everyone on planet earth heard you loud and clear the first time, yet you keep going. Worst take, worst post. I’m not gonna take shots bro. But I get you’re angry. Cool. Thanks again for sharing your opinions lol
As far as experience on rough rides, Flashback and The Boss said to hold their beers. You shouldn’t assume anything. But you know everything about me don’t you?
Glad you added the word “dumb” to your opinion of my post, sorry take. Got any more adjectives to add?

X-Flight is eh to me, but like i said i don't think it's that unpopular or rough

My point was this: I'm 54 and I don't find X-Flight rough at all. I've marathoned it many times. I've also ridden Batman 10x on 12/2019 during Christmas In the Park and I rode Goliath 11x on 10/25/2024 to start the day during Fright Fest.
How does someone who's in their 20s or 30s find X-Flight rough?

He said he doesn't think it is. Why some other people do, I have no idea.
My idea of "Rough Rides" would be:
Corkscrew, The original Mean Streak, Blue Streak, The Beast, Iron Wolf, Vortex, Demon.....
As for what qualifies as rough to me, it's about whether or not I can brace for it. If no amount of bracing myself alleviates the beatings, then it's rough in my book.

One of THE roughest rides I've ever been on: Pegasus at Mt. Olympus! Yes that stupid little ride was super rough on the turns! T3 (KY Kingdom) was awful as well!!

In the news blast from NCC, it was stated that a part needed to be ordered for Roaring Rapids and its expected to open this year! That’s awesome news!!
Unless SF starts closing all their Rapids all of a sudden, I think SFGAm's Rapids are in the clear. Especially with the new part, I'd say the ride is off the closure radar for the time being unless that's where SF wants to build that new giga.
