Six Flags Great America's Coasters on your Desktop!

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I have made a Dreamscene including most of the Roller Coasters at Six Flags Great America.
Coasters include:
Batman: The Ride
Superman: Ultimate Flight
Vertical Velocity (No Brake)
Whizzer
American Eagle (Red) Blue side was too shaky.
Raging Bull
Viper
Iron Wolf

The .wmv file can be found here (189MB): http://www.mediafire.com/?7yz4no9s2n0uk29

This Video file is made in 1280x720 (16:9) and will look best if you have a widescreen display, if you don't have one, you can use the "Fill" option to cut off the edges without getting a "squeezing" effect on the image. Other 16:9 displays will work fine without a stretch effect. 1600x900 and 1920x1080 for example are both 16:9 and the dreamscene will fit perfectly on those displays.

For those who might not know what Dreamscene is: Dreamscene is a Windows Vista feature that allows you to use a video file as a wallpaper, it was only available to use for Windows Vista Ultimate users, but it is now possible to enable it on Windows 7. If I can find the patch for other editions of Windows Vista it will be posted here.

(This might work on both Windows Vista and 7)

NOTES:

1) I DID NOT record these POV's and WILL NOT tell you where to get the originals so don't ask!
2) Dreamscene is a cool feature, but be warned, it can slow down less powerful machines, I recommend you have a decent video card to handle the stress.
3) I might make Dreamscenes for other parks, it all depends.

I hope no one deletes this thread because I may install it on my computer. But, is it an actual POV moving picture of the entire ride on your desktop background wallpaper??? Oh my sounds cool. BTW how do I know if my computer will be able to handle it and how do I know what kind of video card my computer has? How can I check that?

There is a preview there, it is a video of all the POV's excluding Demon, Dipper, Sprocket Rockets, Dark Knight, and Rajun Cajun.

You can check your video card by going to Start>My Computer(RIGHT CLICK)>Properties>Windows Experience Index.

Here you will find a bunch of ratings, this is what Windows uses to determine how powerful your computer is. Just make sure that under the Graphics category it's higher than "3". You must be using Aero, Aero is the transparent windows that look like glass and fancy animations.
