How were the crowds on Memorial Day last year?

I went in 2008 and it was probably one of the lighter crowd days (factoring in how nice it was outside and that it was a holiday) that I have experienced at the park.

Was Memorial Day last year jam packed? I was planning to go this year, hoping to hit a quiet day since there should be a lack of school groups and hopefully people are just staying at home BBQ'ing.

I can't say specifically how Memorial Day last year was, but I tend to avoid major holidays like that or the 4th of July because of the crowds.
