multi-family lodging near SFGAm ???

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Anybody have ideas for lodging that can accomodate four families (8 adults, 7 kids, and 2 infants) near Great America? Maybe in one big "cabin" with a shared living room area. Or maybe a lodge/resort with two nearby units that could hold two families each? We've stayed at Grand Bear Resort near Starved Rock before and they have large 3BR cabins that worked - something like that.

Or private homes for rent?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Did you check out Keylime Cove?
Have a take and don't suck, it's the Jim Rome Show!

^I would suggest Keylime Cove. It has a great waterpark you can come home to after your day at the park and the service is great.
Top 5: 1) El Toro. 2) Maverick. 3) Millenium Force. 4) Diamondback. 5) X2.

I would suggest the Residence Inn in either Waukegan or Deerfield. The Waukegan Residence Inn is about 8 miles away and you might be able to get to the park by using their shuttle (check at the front desk). The Deerfield Residence Inn is about 23 miles away. Both of these Hotels offer free breakfast buffets, the deerfiels offers free soft drinks through an all you can drink fountain in the lobby. Studio rooms are nice and offer a king or queen bed and a pull out sofa rollaways may be available. The other upside to the studio rooms is that there is a kitchenette with service for 4 a stove full size fridge and micro. I suggest this room because you can bring your own meals you have made at home and just reheat. Both feature a public pool and jacuzzi. Also since it is a business hotel the rooms are sometimes cheaper on the weekends (the weekdays are their busy days) We stayed at the Deerfield once for 99.00 a night not a bad deal.

Sorry forgot to mention that the Deerfield location does not have Elevator access but they do have ground level and handicapped rooms. The Waukegan Location has elevator access
