It always warms my heart to see that thing count backwards. Annoys all my friends though cause i always tell them to the hour until SFGAm opens.

You are both nerds. You know on the moon, nerds have their pants pulled down and they are spanked with moon rocks!

Jumping is useless.

I should be at opening day, unless I work that day. Got a new job this week, we work 10-14 hour days 7 days a week, though only certain weekends are mandatory.

Since everyone knows that I know everything about Six Flags(Great America), they always always ask me so I do feel smart and weird at the same time.

On opening day I fully expect to be there before open, will wait a while to enter park, after I'm inside I have no idea what I will ride first, though if Whizzer is open when I stroll pass, that will likely be it, for the duration I will more than likely not spend a dime and be bored by 1:30 in the afternoon and want to go home, although I'll stay just to go out to dinner with other people who normally go on opening day.

Ahh, another year :)

I'll be there an hour before opening filming from the parking lot. Once the park opens, maybe a ride on Whizzer then off to more filming for the day.

Big question! How do you guys get your cameras/phones to stay in your pockets on the rides? I've been thinking of back pocket, but I'm fat. :P

Cargo shorts are your friend in this matter.

I really need to get zip pockets. I've used cargo shorts this summer, but held the pocket closed. I spent $150 on a phone, I'm not going to let a roller coaster destroy it. :P

I'm going to look for some good zip-pants.

Also my plan. Im going around riding everyone in a circle.
Top 5: 1) El Toro. 2) Maverick. 3) Millenium Force. 4) Diamondback. 5) X2.

I'd suggest that, but I've been told multiple times I was not allowed on a ride with it on.

^ I've been going to the park for over 10 years with mine, and I've never had a problem. Everything fits in it, it zippers shut, and I never loose anything.

So, not sure why you were told you could not ride with it on.

Maybe it has to do with the size? I know mine is on the smaller size, but I have seen some bigger ones. I do know that the lap bar / seat belt / harness must be on you as designed even with the fanny pack on. There have been a few times when I had to adjust it so that the lap bar would sit down in the proper position. Maybe yours was to big?

Mines a small Kings Island one we bought last year and got rejected on Viper at SF Great America, Tony Hawk's Big Spin (and Mr. Freeze, but they had a place to put it by the train) at SF STL and S: UF at SFOG. Had no other problems at any park and fits perfect on any ride. It might have just been new employees taking the locker policy way too literal.

I'm moving to cargo pants due to the amount of stuff I'll have on me. A small camera, video camera, extra batteries for both and other stuff won't work with a fanny pack. Plus my fiancee won't let me go to a park anymore with one

Does that mean you won't be able to hang out? I'll be going opening day to hang out with all of my awesome coaster friends I met last year at the park and hopefully meet some new ones.
