Chain lifts of Great America

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Stumbled upon an interesting brochure on chain lifts, while I was randomly surfing the internet...
This is a local business that seems to supply some chain lifts to SFGAm. I wonder how much one of these costs to replace on American Eagle (which is pictured a few times). Anyone know of any more local companies that supply parts to major rides? Sounds like an interesting career to be in, and be involved with amusement parks.

Good find. Corporate is located in Wheeling though, and the actual factory they're made at is in Sandusky, Ohio. Nice to see they've used SFGAm attractions in their brochure.

Moline Bearing Company in Batavia, IL used to manufacture chains. Kiddieland's Little Dipper currently (well unless it's gone already) has a Moline chain on it.

I'm sure there are a few other companies out there that do it also. As far as I know US Tsubaki is the most respected maker of chains I've come across, at least back in the day when I went to IAAPA annually.
