Park opens on Saturday, April 24th 10:00-8:00, and 10:00-7:00 on the 25th. Closing Day is on Halloween. As far as days go, pretty much same as last year except the later opening, and not open weekdays the last week before Labor Day.
What is different in 2010 is many of the days have longer hours compared to recent years. Saturday and Sunday of Memorial day weekend are 10:00-10:00 and all Saturdays and Sundays in June are 10:00-10:00. In the past (since 2004ish) there were no 10:00-10:00 days until the last Monday in June. Also, Daily 10:00-10:00 operation begins June 19th which is a week earlier than usual. The first 2 weeks of June however are 10:00-7:00 on weekdays, last year was 10:00-8:00 on those days.
August 4th-8th are open 10:00-11:00. Second week of August is 10:00-9:00 on weekdays like last year, with the following 2 weeks being 10:00-8:00 on weekdays. August 29th is the last day of Daily operation. Weekends in September are 10:00-9:00 through September 18th, and 10:00-7:00 on Labor Day.
Fright Fest runs October 2nd - October 31st. Friday nights are still 5:00-11:00. Saturdays are now 10:00-11:00 and Sundays are now 10:00-10:00. The park is open 10:00-6:00 on Columbus Day this year.

I am really suprised they will not be open November 6th and 7th. You would figure the park would want to milk Halloween and closing day as two different events.
^I'm not suprised at all. The latest the park has ever stayed open was November 3rd back in 2002 and it was a complete flop. Dead to the point where Bull was only loading 1 train and still had empty rows.
This is very interesting and you can tell a lot about next season based on this.
Some observations: Opening on the 24th probably means buyouts on the 17th/18th, which is about the time I would have expected based on this year's poor weather as they tried doing a "Long season".
I can't remember the exact date, but they seem to be switching to daily operation much sooner than previous years, maybe I'm fooling myself but daily operation seems early.
Glow in the Park's Schedule is basically spelled out based on the 10-10 dates, going to 10-10 weekends starting memorial day, and then a full week earlier then the last two years.
From July 2nd-5th the park is open until 11:00. This is very interesting and obviously there to target 4th of july travelers, maybe we can hope for fireworks on some of these days, at least the 3rd and 4th (which are a sat and sun).
Similarly from August 4th-8th, this time a wed-sat it's also open until 11:00- Perhaps concerts? Or some sort of other special event planned?
The last week in August is also questionable, correct me if i'm wrong but we're they open 'til 6:00 the last week of August this year? Do they know something we don't know? That doesn't seem to make sense with kids going back to school and all. Also, what's with the 9:00 closing times throughout September? That's not exactly the busiest time of year. There don't seem to be many 6,7, or 8 o'clock closings at all next year.
SO HAPPY to see the 11:00 closing times back for fright fest saturdays! That's really how it should be! But 10:00 on sundays? 9:00 was fine guys, as far as I can tell sundays were never that bad this year. Glad to see it's closed on columbus day, I always hated that they, they had such reduced product, and such low attendence regardless of the economy that it was pointless. Besides the extra operating hours, maybe that'll free up some extra budget for the event.
I would guess that being open until 11 August 4th-8th is due to high attendance. That is the same week that is jam packed every year because it is when the Read To Succeed tickets expire.
Yes yes yes they are finally opened til 11pm during fright fest again. They also open on my birthday so it was a pleasant surprise to find they will be open til 8. I have suggested this time and time again to park employees and they are finally doing it, this might be a terrific year for Six Flags!!!!!
I am glad there will be longer hours. 10 O'clock is pretty early on a summer night.
But seriously, it sucks it is on Holloween. This year it was packed on that day. I would think the park would be better off closing on November 7th, but I don't run the park. All we can do is wine.
Park hours have changed for September and October. The two Friday nights in September on the 17th and 24th have been cut. Also, the park is now open on Columbus day from 10:00-6:00 like normal.
I know something about Fright Fest this year. I have worked for the park for Fright Fest now Six Flags is now doing all of FF. It was an outside production from Six Flags, now not so much, but I think you all need to know. Thanks, swm. Mod edit: Post cleaned up, holy smoke dude learn how to type.
I wouldnt be too sad, SF does a terrific job of doing in house Fright Fests, just look at SFSTL and SFKK (which do absolutely nothing) for Fright Fest . Jokes aside from what was written in that statement even though JPM was cut it sounds as if SFGAm is going to hire the people that run JPM to continue to help with the event.
I think this is terrible! This means that SF can control how many workers there are. So look for an even worse Fright Fest than last year. Does this mean we need to get are own decorations? Or does this mean we just need to hire the people, and we own all the FF decorations?
DId anyone bother reading the date of that release? JPM was already gone for the past 2 year's fright fests. While FF was on the lame side as usual, it didn't seem a whole lot worse than before, at least actor wise.
And as for SFStL not doing anything. They don't do much in the park, but the Haunted Hayride they have is pretty awesome. In the past few years they made it an upcharge, which got rid of the multi hour line, and it's easily worth the $5. They also haunt their train which is on the cheezy side and sports a long line but is worth seeing at least once.

^ I'm thinking that the date on that may be an "Epic Fail" typo since I've still seen JPM people during FF, plus the fact that last year's (2009) creature crew was still posted on JPM's website.
