I heard that if you take your seatbelt off on the lift hill of a rollercoaster the ride will stop.
Does anyone know if that is true!!!

The ride will not stop.
Seatbelts are unmonitored on all rides at Great America. Lapbars are monitored on certain rides, and the status is only checked at a certain point in the station. Unbuckling your seatbelt is not only stupid, but it is also a one way ticket out of the park via squad car. Closed. Licensed Mechanical Engineer
