Hey guys new tot he side but have been reading for a few months now. My girlfriend and I are flying in to Chicago next weekend and the park is on our todo list. We got tickets off ebay (they just came in the mail). My question is they say that they are good any day through November 1st but they are not valid on Fright Fest operating days. Now I am planing on calling the park but was woundering if this means the tickets are no good for the weekend of October 17th? Any help would be great.
Was it even worth buying on Ebay? You pay kids price if you buy online! $34.99 If you buy online! Should have just bought them online and saved the hassle
I think you ended up with fakes. The park currently list Fright Fest everyday going through closing day. You could call the park, but once you say you got them on EBAY, they basically say it is not their problem.
I think they are fake. The reason is because Fright Fest, the website even says is November 1st. Since you just bought them, return them, and get your money back as soon as possible. Second thing I would do is buy the tickets online from the Great America website before you come to the park unless you can find a better deal. I will not say that everything on ebay is fake or a scam, but this must really be. I have bought from ebay, and never been scammed. I got what I wanted. I didn't buy tickets though.

Thanks guys. I called the park and the park told me that some Retail stores that were selling them were misprinted and they are going to take them. I gave the park the Numbers on the tickets and they are real and have not been used at all. I'm not from the area at all and I will be visting the area for 3 days nest week. Do you guys no of any good bars or must does in or around the city? And if for any reasson any of you are visting Pittsburgh anytime soon I would give you a hand? Any ideas would be great thanks
If you mean bars right near the park, I'd reccomend InLaws Restaurant. They got killer food there, and a large well stocked bar with more TV's than you can shake a stick at. If you go on Sunday during the bears game, they usually serve free pizza. Reasonable prices to boot.
While not the best way, the easiest way for out of towners to get there is to go out SFGAm's normal exit (on grand ave) and turn right, next light you come across will be milwaukee Ave, turn right there then it will be a pretty quick left.
Outside of that no other ideas. I dont really get out that much

no, All I know of there is a few Fast Food Restaurants....But you could always just leave the park and eat across the street to save save cash.

Timothy O'Tooles opened up a few months back, directly across the street from the park. Quite fun on Friday and Saturday nights. Down the street past Gurnee Mills, on the west side of Gurnee, you have TGI Fridays, if your into that sort of thing. Really depends on where you are staying....also Key Lime Cove has a bar / restaurant too. Again ,right across from the park.
If your looking to go to actual downtown Chicago for at least one day which I assume you meant because your going to be here for 3 days. Go to any bar in Wrigleyville and you'll have an enjoyable time.
