So I was just online and found this article about the confirmation of the glow in the park parade. I know its not much but, well its something. Anyone plan on renewing a pass for this?
Excellent addition to SFGAm. In my opinion the park was missing was non-ride family attractions, and not only a long overdue new parade, a very good one at that. This is an outstanding addition to Great America's entertainment lineup.
I was at SFGADv and saw the parade, and always wanted it at SFGAm. I think this is an awesome adition to the park.. but Hmmm... SFSTL. got parade and water slides... does that mean we would get another atraction on top of this one?
Six Flags Ameirca as the number 1 park at SFI.... this is JOKE!
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
It sounds like a good addition because our parade has been the same for awhile, but is a parade alone going to bring in more people to the park? Does a family think, hey they got a new parade, we have to go to the park this year? I just hope that the people at our park know what they are doing. At SFOT, I've heard from someone that frequently visits that park, and I believe worked there too, that the choreography with the parade was bad, and they had to take some stuff out because it was so terrible like the drummers.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"

That is my only fear for the parade. The parade that was there over the summer was ok enough for a theme park, just the performers had the charisma and talent of a cardboard box.
If you get some good performers in there, you have a big winner. I've seen videos of the parade at other parks and it is good.
I'm excited to see how this parade, I was happy to see when they added the parade back in 06 and this should be a good addition to help shape things out with becoming a more family oriented park
Wow, i'm surprised that no one has complained about this not being a coaster yet. While it's not a new ride, I am actually kind of excited for this. The parade has been in need of an upgrade and I think lots of families will love this. I remember when I was at Six Flags St. Louis I overheard lots of kids and parents reminding each other not to miss the parade. Overall I think that this is a smart move for the park but it will be intersting to see how they will market this.

Also I saw this parade at SFStL it is is a really really cool parade. I don't know if it makes up for a major CapEx but none the less will be seeing it at least a few times next year.

I wonder if the general public would enjoy this...hopefully they do a good job for the public to want to see it again on another trip back to the park.
Do you think this parade will be the same as the one at Great Adventure? or do you think they will change it up a bit? I hope they change it up some how.
This means that the More Flags More Fun Parade isn't happening. Is it possible Six Flags is phasing out this ad campaign? Is Mr.Six retiring yet again?
Am I the only one that thinks this looks like a poor man's version of the Parade that Disney used to do? if I am then fine, I don't see what what wrong with our old parade, but I will give it a shot, and if I still don't like it then I just wont stay for it.
The Glow in the Park parade at Great Adventure is probably my favorite parade, and I used to work the Disney Electrical Parade (though that has a lot to do with the music, the Glow in the Park music is good while the Eletrical Parade music is godawful)
