I'm taking my 10 yr old daughter to Great America Aug 1st..... this will be her first time on any roller coaster and although i think she will do well with all of them i could use some advice on a few coasters to break her in. I plan to buy the gold flash pass so i'd also like some advice on the best plan to explore the park and get max amount of rides in. Thanks

I remember when I was about her age, My first coaster at the park was Whizzer. I start all my friends doesn't matter what age on Whizzer because it's a family ride and in my opinion I think it's a great starter coaster, that's just me. I don't know what everyone else thinks. Now for looping coasters, I went right for Shockwave when it was at the park as my first looping, so for looping I would either start her on Batman or Demon. I don't know how she would like V2 or Bull or Wolf, but I think she would like Viper, Eagle, Dark Knight, Superman and Ragin Cajun. I hope I helped a little bit here, if I didn't I'm sorry.

Take her on Whizzer, Ragin' Cajun, Dark Knight, and Spacely's [Sprocket Rockets]. If she's comfortable on all of those, try Viper and/or Demon. After that, American Eagle, Batman, or Superman would be a good choice.

Whizzer Ragin Cajun Dark Knight yes for the most time there skip Hurricane Harbor a good place to test how she will stand up to looping is to have her first go on the Orbit, then I would say for her to go on the Demon Viper would probably be a good wooden coaster for her. Then I guess gauge for yourself what u think would be a good fit for her. Though I would possibly skip Raging Bull. Hope she has a blast i remember my first time.
