Flash Pass Questions

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

We will be at the park this Sunday. We will be there before rope drop and more then likely as soon as the parking lot opens.

My questions are:
Should I reserve our Gold Flash Pass online and pay the extra $5.00 (seems stupid to charge for printing at home) or just get it at the park first thing?

Where do you get the Flash Passes at?

Are there any discounts available? season pass etc...

I think I have a pretty good understanding on using them, but I am sure that the video will make sure.

I am so looking forward to this trip.

I am guessing that with a GFP, I should hit Ragin Caygun first after getting the GFP.

Thanks Dave

Chances are the crowds shouldn't be too bad this Sunday, so you may not need a Flash Pass at all. It is very smart of you to arrive at the park early, as it will end up saving you a bunch of time waiting in line. However, I've been at the park these past two Sundays, and in the afternoon the crowds do pick up substantially. So if you are willing to spend the extra money and don't want to wait in any lines the entire day, get a gold Flash Pass. Paying $5 extra online is a waste of money. I would just buy the pass at the park first thing in the morning.

Have fun at the park!

The way that I figure it the GFP and no lines will still be worth it. Since I am coming form Columbus on Saturday night, we will have 2 nights hotel, the rental car & boarding our 2 dogs at home. So right there is over $400. Add the GFP for the 3 riders to guarantee that we get our fill.

In other words, I can spend $400 to get 12 coasters at SFGAm with nominal re-rides or $522 for extreme re-rides.

Our record so far is 44 laps on 17 different coasters in one day at CP CoasterMania. (this is not counting the laps on Maverick after midnight the day before). I hope to come close to this.

I have gone the past 2 sundays as well and coasterkid94 is right the crowds do pick up afternoon, so if want to get on a lot of rides, I would go for the GFP. I'm going Sunday as well but by myself, I hope you guys have a fun trip :)

Does anyone know the current cost of the regular flash pass for 4 if purchased in the park? I know in the past I always was about to buy them online (currently $63+ $5 raping for me to have to use my own ink and paper to print the reservation at home), but then waited and bought them in the park and found them to be more expensive.

Is there a price difference anymore between buying them at the park versus online? Anytime I can save money NOT paying print 'n go fees i'm happy!

Thanks!

On weekends the goes up in prices EX:$29 and $14 for each add. person
So this $8 increase.
This is from other Trip reports that is showings thease numbers.
Everytime I Have been there its $27 and $12 in the slow season.

The hight of summer the prices could rise at this time and even more during Fight Fest!

Online its guarantee at that price until noon. That's a good thing.

Discounts are with the Flash Pass Manager-

I bought the Flash Pass last week, complete with the dirty looks, and I did not have to watch the video. Do they always make you watch it, because it was pretty easy to use.
