Will the park be super-busy, anything extra going on? Should we avoid this day? Will all the shows and parades be running? This is my first post - woo-hoo! Thanks for the info.

^^ Why can't anybody just give a little advice once in a while??? I know this topic has been discussed many times but really, give LuvTheFlags a break...
To answer your question, my guess is it will be slightly crowded. However, there is a chance that the crowds won't be too bad because the Raven concert and "World's Largest Shower" record-attempt are both on different days. Also, many people visited the park this past holiday weekend. You might get lucky and find that there are much smaller crowds on this Friday than a normal one.
Because a while back these topics would be locked within one hour now we have a new one every three weeks. Look someone will post "What will the crowds be like first Friday in August" very soon. Slacking off moderators!!! These questions are pointless and redundant.

The person was probably looking up a place to get information about SFGAm from people like us to plan a day. I don't see anything wrong with that.

A weekend in July? Are you insane? Unless you plan on investing in a Flash Pass, Good luck  I hate it when people register for this site only to ask a VERY unnecessary question!  "I've been told that some part of every wish will be heard but lately I lost sight of the truth in those words."
It's a Friday. It's the 2nd most packed day of the week. Pick a different day. You should pick a day that's warm enough too so people go in the waterpark while you go on the roller coasters. For a 70 degree day, most of the people are going to be in the regular park which means a lot more lines.

Demon, these questions get asked too frequently and common sense needs to be thought about a bit more. How can u possibly ever really predict crowds? EVERYTHING depends on the weather. Chance of rain can scare tons of people away. Everyone picks July to go because everyone usually has the most time off this month. Please s-t-o-p it with these topics in the future. Wrong section anyway. -----
