technically B&M have a launch coaster: the Incredible Hulk... however Someone else made the launch feature... They said they weren't comfortable back in 1999 because of that ride.(That is what I found, if you can find something recent send it my way) It has been 14 years since then, there has been new technology since.
Seeing as there are 3 pieces of paper that say Gusiness World Records (and that the folder has records pluralized), my guess is a coaster with multiple records. I still am sayin that a RMC coaster is a possibility...I think they might be trying to throw us off by showing RMC at Eagle, when it's really for another ride. I have been waiting a new wooden coaster in the park for a while and this might be the time to get one. Either way, 165 feet is pretty tall for IW's area. We will likely find out more at the zoning board meeting on Wednesday

That was just Rocco and I in our RMC hoodies.
165 certainly isn't small. Gonna be a tight squeeze back there.

A B&M launched coaster, while unlikely, wouldn't be completely out of the question. In an interview Walter Bolliger gave to NewsParcs he said B&M would be open to it.
With the Gurnee board article, my guess is also a Premier launched coaster in IW's spot. It obviously would have to be custom made to be shoehorned in that location. Great addition in my opinion.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
If it is a launching coaster, I wish I could find a post I made on here back in 2009 when I used the account "ttd rox" (I couldn't retrieve my password because my email address was old so I had to make a new account) predicting we would get a launching coaster in 2014. I don't know why I predicted that year but I may be right after all.

Anything is possible, but that seems a little hard to imagine. The Village Of Gurnee has nothing to gain by playing along with the park's marketing silliness, so why would they do that? Anyway, even if there are two things, it doesn't seem especially likely that both will be over 125 feet.

It's plenty doable in that spot if the coaster launches into a giant loop
Full Throttle is also the world's fastest looping roller coaster. Add five feet to the loop, and it's safe to assume this coaster would need to go faster than Full Throttle.
RMC Woodie with 3 inversions (It'd be the only with 3, Outlaw Run's over bank apparently doesn't count) and the 3 Guinness files could represent the 3 inversions?
Its been a while since i have posted on here haha. Ive been quietly watching the speculations for about 2 weeks now. Based on the agenda posted today on Gurnee's site......new coaster is definitely the plan. A few changes I see coming even this fall:
Changes to fright fest. Necropolis and any other haunts that are normally in the IW area will be axed. This may explain the rumors I saw on screamscape about using HH as a haunt area this year.
Also dont expect to see the train running this year either for FF as im sure the tracks will more than likely need to be removed to get the ball moving on construction.
Looking at the satellite images of the park, I think were looking at the removal of the Wilderness Theatre. Its old, outdated, underused and is right next to IW's spot. Removing that theatre frees up a large amount of space for a pretty decent sized coaster to go in over there.
As for the make or type of coaster....im not going to speculate quite yet as there isnt enough information yet. We will definitely know more on Wednesday.
I do think we may be looking at a double announcement. If this is the case. Whatever the secondary attraction is will more than likely end up where RC is now. I have a pretty good inkling that this will be the last summer for that ride.
I leave for Vaca tomorrow, headed to Orlando. So ill try to check up on here when I can to see the updates.
What about a roller coaster similar to the Superman Ultimate Flight at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom? I feel like that could fit perfectly in that Iron Wolf area. A roller coaster like Green Lantern: First Flight could be an option too!

Necropolis isn't in the Iron Wolf area, the only thing that was was the walkthrough at the end of the train haunt, which wasn't all that much anyways. But they weren't very far with X Flight construction when the park closed in 2011 and Premiers don't take long to put up once they're vertical, so I don't see construction being a big issue during FF.
