I thought I was over it I really did. Truth is, what Six Flags did is wrong. Magic Mountain got to keep theirs for unknown reasons yet their Vu is part of an annual "rehab" that I'm sure costs a lot of $$. They have more than enough coasters to keep the public happy. We lost 3 rides. 1 being a great water ride that was still in good condition. We have SSA just standing there. The Dark Knight is a moose coaster that disappointed most fans. We have not gotten any real entertainment since Superman 5 years ago. I would have rather lost Iron Wolf or Whizzer. The two rides that are either old, rough or expensive to maintain.
Wait until it starts to break down. Six Flags gave up after 6 years. Silverwood will give up after 2 or 3. It does not fit in that park. all their other rides suck. They have 2 woodies, 1 demonish and Aftershock. Thats it. Lame. I'll be over it when Six Flags gives Great America a new thrill ride for 2009.
TAKE DOWN THE OLD DEJA VU POST WITH THE LIGHTS ABOVE IT!
They look like a bad imitation of Viper and Evel Kinevel (sp?). Silverwood has been spending so much money on Aftershock I hope this small park in a small town in the middle of nowhere is able to make it work. Actually, no I don't. I wouldn't care if they took the one from Six Flags Over georgia (Where is that one?) but they took OURS!
I agree with onyxhotel08, they need to get rid of the Dejavu posts and lights. That's the only thing left and every time I pass by there it makes me cry.
It makes me so sad to see that video. The second is started playing, seeing it in a different park gave me a weird feeling. I want them to re-paint it so it doesn't remind me of it so much...

When i was there May 31st all the signs etc. were still standing.....sucks.
I agree with both of you.
Our Six Flags sucks.....I hate it, they get rid of the best stuff, and replace it with Crap.....Except for SUF, that was a good change for once.

I'm so glad I got to ride Deja Vu 2 weeks ago! It was great !
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
I doubt they're going to get rid of the poles but they need to, it's depressing and it's bad enough they kept Vu's colors at Aftershock, I hate how they got rid of Vu I hate it.
It will be much easier to move on once Magic Mountain loses theirs and you know they will soon. Six Flags wants to cut costs at every turn and get rid of anything that eats away at the budget. Deja Vu costs a lot to run even in Cali. They are getting a woodie for 2009 based on Terminator 4 so it would not be that biug of a loss.
FYI Six FLags Mexico is getting the Dark Knight from New England

I think aftershock feals like it should be painted with a red, orange and black kind of thing.

If they were to use that space to expand Hurricane Harbor, I'd be extremely Disappointed, HH has plenty of stuff as it is, and with all the people complaining about a new big coaster....I wouldn't want to wait for something that stupid.
Just Announce the new Coaster SFGAM!!!!!
I'm betting on 2011 finish

well now its saying that HH will become a second gate attraction (it was inevitable), and something new will be added next year
