On a typical summer day Rapids opens at 11 with either 4 or 6 rafts, typically adds around noon (runs up to 10 during the day) then drops back down to 4 a few hours before close if theres no line. It ran 12 up until a couple years ago, new rules etc added as the years go on make it harder to run without jamming up plus a lot of the old staffing positions just arent staffed anymore. It used to run 16 back in the day if I remember correctly (possibly more).

I imagine if it ran 16 back in the day the lines weren't nearly as bad as they are now especially with Splash Water Falls dead and gone..Which water ride was it that had a name of Ice Mountain Splash a few years back? And why did it happen in the first place? What caused the change back?
I'm partially guessing on this one but Yankee CLipper became Ice Mountain Splash for a few years while SFGA had a deal with that company. Eventually, it expired and the previous name returned.

Though I may not be right, I thought Ice Mountain Splash is the name of the SWF at SF St. Louis.
I am a bit disappointed Yankee Clipper will not be open this Memorial Day weekend it was open last year late June so maybe they will open it next month? I don't get it the park is open daily now it should be open.
