What would you change with Vu???

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

^ That would be awesome! Also the wait may go a lot faster. It would be nice if the train was x2 longer for a much shorter ride. Also the ride operators are really bad.

Have you not seen Vu's crew this year? They're the best crew all around! Most of the time they have been nearly almost as fast as Batman's crew (in my experience, anyway).

At least she got Vu. I say a new crew, for the current crew should be dispersed among other rides, spreading the excellence

What excellence? Our crew was better. We invented the system that the Vu crew uses today. If I'm correct some of the orginal crew trained the crew this year.

You had first hand experience with that crew didn't you John? From what I hear you fit right in. I guess we won't be seeing you there next year. Gotta love exit riders....

I know, but what if there was some way. Or it would be cool if there was a dual station.

A Mr Freeze type you mean? Like where 1 train loads while the other is cycling?

Wasn't trying to be mean John. I just thought you shouldn't present yourself as one of the good crew members on the Bull crew since you did what you did.

omg, when I went to SFSTL, I originally thought Mr. Freeze only used 1 train. When I got into the station I realized and I thought it was cool how they had 1 train cycling and 1 loading. I never knew they did that.

I never knew mr. freeze did that. It would be impossible to make Vu a dual station now. It would just cause more problems and downtime.

^Think of that! They would just have problems with machines to move the trains. More downtime!!!

Not necessarily. Its just a transfer track that loads people...it wont cause more downtime

It wouldn't possible to have another (transfer) track for D Vu'. The reason has to do with the cable. There is only one cable for the train and catch car. So, how could you transfer another train on. When the train comes back it comes with the cable and the catchcar already attached.

Actually it is entirely possible, I am not going to explain, for there is no point for it will never be done.

In the station, there could be brakes which would hold the train in place, the catch car would release in the station, and move party up the tower. then the track moves to the other side. Once that train is loaded and ready for dispatch, the track could move back to the middle, the catch car come back down, the brakes release, and the train makes its way up the tower like usual. Make sense?

From what I assume from your post what is now the station would be the mainline track and the trains will transfer from there. Here are the problems with that:

1. There is no room for breaks in the station right now so why would there be with 2 trains. There are parts of the ride that are attached to the track that can't be removed. They need to be there at all times when the catch car is on tower 1.

2. You can't transfer the track there are all the parts for the cable in the station. All of the cable parts are attached to the track.

3. The way the track is designed the track for the catch car sit right on top of the track for the train. Both tracks attack to the spine.
