Whats different about Fright Fest?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

How do some of the characters make their screams high frequency? Or that creepy?
In 2002 I went through Necro and it had like the two goth girls in the beginning. One followed one group and talked to them about "disgusting" recipes while the other one of course followed me. And at first I though she was just going to stalk me to the end of the area and then turn around. But when we got to the end she had this high-pitched scream. First of all it was a heart-attack moment because I didn't expect it. But it also was a really creepy sound.

Fright fest is a bad time of year for coaster enthusiasts unless you go on a friday or halloween weekend. Saturdays are REAL bad. Its fun though because there's more to look at. One year I went with my family and we went for the whole day and only got onto five rides. We did the haunted houses too, but still, seven things in one day? I believe this was back when the haunted houses were actually scary too.

Well the haunted houses are scary nomore because in my opinion to many people complained but my first time was like three years ago and it scared the hell out of me and the other time I went I got scared for like the begining. I couldnt go on them last year because it was to pack so I wouldnt know if they were scary or not.

Anybody know?

They weren't really scary last year, but I'm a bit of a haunted house freak. Maus was out for the cheap scare with darkness and boos. The bed and breakfast was the one I liked better because they put more work into how the house looked.

I've not been to that one, but being the haunted house enthusiast I am I'd say check out the fright fest ones first, and if they're not hard core enough for you try Stateville, Dream Reapers, or Eleventh Hour.

The maus wasnt scary last year, and I thought it was horrible because it was pitch black. That ruined everything. There were a few really cool scenes, but I like the one in 2001 better. This year, the first room was pitch black, so you couldnt tell if there was something scary in it anyway. There were no rails so we turned left right away and walked into a crew of scareactors or relief or whatever theyre called. When we finnaly figured out how to get into the mirror maze, it was awesome. But then after you exit that and you enter the hall of portraits, then the dot room, then the vortex, you turn right and go down a20 some foot hallway that was pitch black with no scares. It was freaky because you felt lost but there were no scares. None the less I loved last years house because from this point on, the scenes were great. There was aroom where you pushed through hanging body bags in srobes, jumping masks, electric chair, and a graveyard. I have a feeling im forgetting something, bu oh well.

Im DYING to go in this years maus. I freakin love haunted houses. I must have gone through it 4 times or more. I would also sit out front of the exit and watch the chainsaw guy scare people and listen to the screams and soundafects inside. They left a picture on the character door into the house with a map and i wanted it so bad we took a picture of it and asked frightfestchica in an email if she could get us a copy. It wasnt the blueprints, but it showed the entire house, labelled the scenes, and showed where the props and acters were located.

well in all honesty - no one is supossed to have it - confidential information. i mean i know you go through the house but it still is.. it was a blue print drawing. but anyway - i think the house is different this year. I have the map cross my hands but i didnt even bother to look at it.

but sorry rc couldnt get copies of it to distribute.
