I might've sounded like I think that it's OK to drop change from Giant Drop. That's not really what I was saying. I was just telling twixmix that Giant Drop's loading procedure is fine the way it is, and they don't need to do a strip-search just to make sure no one has a penny in their pocket. What I'm saying is the procedure for Giant Drop is fine the way it is, and although there will be the [Uh, I'm not sure if I can say this word here]s who do decide to throw change from the top, or have the penny trick go horribly wrong, and there's really not much they can do about it except ask people to show their hands. There is a roof over the queue, so it's kinda tough to get hit by one, and there's even less of a chance that it lands completely vertical and on top of your head. I'm not saying it's impossible to get hit, because I have been hit before. No blood was drawn, it just stung for a second. Before I start rambling, let me wrap this up. Any more measures of loose article protection would be like wearing a helmet all the time because a bowling ball my come hurling at you from out of nowhere.
Some people will stop at nothing to act like idiots, for example, on one of my recent Drop rides, some guy next to me pulled out Chineese firecraker things (the ones that you throw and they make noise), luckily the operator saw it and made them drop it before enabling the ride.
How long can you guys say don't throw change, but yet we still have people that say it's harmless. It's a no-win situation. People will still do it, and others will not. I guess it's okay to throw change unless someone gets hurt. Right??
I can't believe this topic has reached this far. There's no harm in a rumor, however throwing change from a tower is okay?
