Yup buy it at the gift shops its easier and saves you time 19.99 for regular 39.99 for express plus tax. Two free walk through not bad Necro got cut should have been moved to Hurricane Harbor with Bermuda triangle at least they have a little bit more room than having to climb the stairs at the old Rajin cajun spot. Suprized theyre not reducing the price of 2014 sport bottles.
Well, I'll report back with what I see today... Gonna head up for the late afternoon/evening... I'm sure the super nice weather is gonna work against us... Expecting things to be packed, but I got to get my 2015 pass processed... What do y'all think next weekend will be like? I was hoping that next Sunday would be dead... Enjoy one last day in the park... Supposed to be in the 40s though... Does that effect operations in any way?
Whelp, I rolled into the park yesterday (Sun. 10/26) around 2:45pm with a buddy of mine... No wait at the entrance... First order of business was to go in and get our 2015 passes taken care of at the Pass Center... Night and day from my experience there back in July.... Things were organized and we were in and out in 10 minutes...
From there we hit up Whizzer just because... Waited just over an hour... From there I ran into some friends randomly and BSed with them for a bit.... From there we wandered over to Raging Bull... We saw that the line was 120 minutes... Since Bull usually has single seats open, we decided to try our luck with the Single Rider Line... So we walk up to the Flash pass entrance and tell the person there that we're single riders... She tells us to hold on for a minute... She checks a few groups of Flash Pass people in, then lets a group of people from the regular line through... She then just waives my buddy and me into the line... No lanyard or anything So we just turned a 2 hour wait into about 15 minutes
After exiting Bull, I noticed that people were lined up all the way down the exit ramp to the train storage shed... All but two or three of the people in this line were on crutches or wheelchairs... Any idea what this could have been? Never seen more than 8-10 people lined up in the exit que like this before...
Walked over to Goliath to try the single rider line there.... The temp que was solid... Overall wait was listed at 150 minutes... Decided to take a pass since we would have spent over an hour in the temporary que alone... Eagle Red was our next choice... About a 45 minute wait...
Went back to Bull to see if we could beat the system again... Sure enough same girl was working the Flash Pass... Same thing... Told us to wait... She let some Flash Pass people go, then the general line, then us... Did this again for a quick re-ride right after... (How she didn't catch on that the same two guys were back in line within 25 minutes is beyond me )
To close out the night we tried the Single Rider Line on S:UF... This is where Karma caught up to us... The Flash Pass person said that we couldn't go up to the station as single riders until the Flash Pass que was empty... At the time, there were probably 30-40 people ready to go, or waiting out the last of their timers... Flash Pass People were constantly walking up, and after about 20 minutes, it became apparent that we weren't getting through any time soon
As others have noted, it's amazing how inconsistent things have been this year with the Single Rider Lines... At Bull, we basically got away with SFGAm approved line jumping... Goliath had over an hour wait just to get the privlage to go up to the station... Then S:UF had a Single line that was basically unusable...
All in all, it was different to see the park all decked out in Fright Fest garb... I enjoyed thoroughly enjoyed it... The name changes were cleaver and I like how they enhanced the rides by changing things from the norm (like Giant Drop dropping cars at random instead of all at once)... Hoping to get back for one last blast next weekend.... I think the plan is to try for Sunday since it should be fairly dead...
Does anyone know if there are any cold restrictions on the coasters? I'm planning on going Sunday and the weather is supposed to be a high of 45...I couldn't find any info on the Great America website. Wondering if anyone on here knows.
All coasters should be operating. Some of them may open a little bit late in the morning (Raging Bull, X Flight, Superman, and Whizzer), but they will open. Goliath may or may not be effected, I have no knowledge of whether Goliath has issues in the cold. You may also see Whizzer and/or Raging Bull open with only 2 trains, as maintenance only has enough heaters to heat one train at a time.

That's funny. I went to the park on Sunday as well, and when I went up to the flash pass lady at RB, and she told me the single rider line was not available. But the single rider line worked just fine on S:UF. I went up to the flash pass lady and she told me I could go, and in 5 mins, I was on the ride.

Anyone know what it could be?
Total guess, but maybe some sort of discounts for this weekend? The weather is going to be pretty bad, and in my past experience it's usually dead past Halloween anyway, so they might try to do what they can to get some people in the park.
@SFGreat_America: Goodbye!Necropolis and Mausoleum of Terror are closing FOREVER Nov. 2! Get your last frights in before it's too late! http://t.co/EJDEs0dLSh/s/aA6A
I liked masuleum of terror in 2012 but I'm assuming the lose of necropolis means that something is going in ragin Cajun's either this year or next year (300 ft skyscreamer please) hah
MOT in the past few years seemed to be going downhill.....and I believe with Goliath, it gave them an "out" to not have to do as much with the whole Necropolis/MOT thing....but at the same time a positive as the park can now re-do that area with whatever idea they have in store for next year.
