Generic 40th Anniversary Ideas Thread

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I think thats a good idea the double rides on flat or maybe the big coasters too. Since it is a 40th anniversary why not have a 40 days of celebration. Free concerts on some days, foods, maybe free parking 15 dollar admission whatever they can think about to get people to go to the park and spend money inside instead of using it for parking and admission. Ending with a really big attraction announcement on the 40th day :D .

What if the park did some kind of wheel that only Gold Season Pass and Membership people can spin?
Most of the prizes could be food and merchandise coupons, but some could be more exclusive park prizes such as old maps or shirts.

Not going to happen. It would be cool to win free old maps, but honestly the only way to get any old maps of the park is to buy them.

also when SF owned the parks in Europe, they sent most outdated merchandise there, SFB had a rather awesome collection of 1980's and 1990's SFGAm shirts in their gift shops

Also hope they sell some cool magnets. I'm the biggest sucker for Theme Park Magnets.
