Thanks Brian for posting the pics of Hay baler, it brings back memories of working that unit along with Sky whirl.
Back to the Dejavu convo, I only got to ride it like twice while it was running and I enjoyed it. It's going to be wierd seeing that area rideless, even if its a game sitting there. We've being seeing that ride in the Great America skyline for a while and its going to take some getting used to.
So as you can see in these 27 pages of discussion, there are quite a few pictures of the deconstruction.
My intentions are to make a video montage using them. That requires some permission from the photographers. If you could get back to me on that, it would be appreciated.

You can use my pictures. I would put all our names in the credits. I look forward to your tage!
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/
It will look so depressing once the towers are gone... Deja Vu should have stayed along with SWF until a suitable replacement ride was ready to be put in. I can't believe that area will be without anything all summer/season.
It would have been nice had it stayed until they found a replacement. I think that all management saw was a big cash hog though, so they wanted to get rid of it.
If Deja Vu was becoming (Slowly becoming) a more relibale ride since 2006 season, why not give it some more time to grow and stablilize into a successful coaster with good run times? Especially since, well, there is nothing going into that spot that will be more attractive to the general public. I'm sure the people going to Six Flags Great America this summer would tell you they would rather have Deja Vu at the park even if it is down a lot then nothing but a silly basketball game and a lot of nothing where Deja and SWF were. Yes, I am still furious over losing Deja Vu. It was the most beautiful coaster at the park. Silverwood should repaint their inverted booomerang because the blue and green were for our Deja Vu not theirs. And, just for fun, which Deja Vu was more reliable, ours or Six Flags Over Georgia? When did Georgia lose theirs? How much downtime does the Vu have at Magic Mountain?
According to a Silverwood fan site, the installation for Vu will itself run about 3 million and the whole thing about 4 million total. Now, why on earth would a park that only got 550,000 visitors last season for over 4 million dollars for a coaster that has one of the worst reputations ever? Why not get a new one that would be proven more reliable? And according to Silverwood, Deja Vu was down only 2 PERCENT of the time last year! Is that true? Why get rid of it then?
Deja Vu is so much better but Aftershock is pretty good. Now just repaint it because the green and blue colors belong to Deja Vu of Six Flags not Aftershock of Silverwood.
R.I.P Deja Vu (2001-2007)
Aftershock (2008-)
Does anyone know what ever happened to the Deja Vu at Six Flags Over Geogia?

the colors belong to six flags??? no, the colors belong to whoever owns the coaster but I would like like to see it painted the colors of Scream! (SFMM)
or something like goldish yellow and a dark red
As for SFOG's Vu.....
all i know is that it is being replaced by thomas town

I give Aftershock until 2010 before it is finally laid to rest. Silverwood should have invested the 4 million in a coaster that is newer, more reliable and actually fits with their park. If all the problems with vu were taken care of like Silverwood recently said, Six Flags Great America would not have sold it when they have nothing yet to put in its place.
Six Flags does own the colors otherwise Stunt Fall in Spain would not be painted that ugly orange/blue color. The park in Spain is no longer part of Six Flags Inc.

Parks do not own color schemes. Six Flags owned the park Stunt Fall is at when it was built. Seriously, owning colors, puh-lease
