Welcome to the world Marcus, it's great to see you keep doing spots on Goliath! Also, I really enjoyed that commercial about you and coasters. Pretty much all of us here can relate to it. For those of you that dont know what im talking about give me one sec.
JimPanky, for the millionth time, please edit your posts. A triple post? You've got to be kidding me. I simply don't understand how you're the only person on this whole forum I've ever had any problem with, and it's basically something new every single week.

Good to see that the RMC guys are still on track (pun intended) with the construction. I'm still waiting for the lift hill to start going up. Hopefully, they'll get on it in a few weeks.
Check it out! SFGAm World's first official Goliath construction update video! Let me know what you think. This was filmed Monday, February 3rd. http://youtu.be/_058JWOjkfo

Pretty awesome construction video Scott! RMC is making very good progress.
Is this another piece of track ready to be installed?

They have actually removed two of the four rail sections that were installed in December
You're right. I didn't even notice that until you said that.

If I had to guess the track went in when it did (only that lil section) to meet some sort of contract agreement (for them to have track in by some specific date). Since that was met and they are getting further along with the build maybe some kind of adjustment needs to be made...?
We have some twisted track being lifted right now.
Update: I've been refreshing the webcam every 20 seconds or so and something very odd is happening. They lifted up a piece of track, then set it back down. They lifted it up again and then set it down again. Then, they lifted it up a third time, I hit refresh a few seconds later, and the track piece was no longer attached to the crane. A whole bunch of workers started surrounding the area. I have no clue what just happened but the crane was still way in the air as it was 30 seconds ago with a piece of track attached to it.

Agree! The construction process seems to be moving VERY SLOW at this point. They still have a LONG way to go. I think the entire ride and the station won't be done till late April or early May. If Goliath is supposed to open to the public on May 24th, that would give the park about 2-3 weeks to test the ride. I have a feeling this ride is going to need ALOT of testing.
With the crappy winter we've been having, I can't blame them for moving "slow" (which we don't even know if they are as we don't know their construction timeline.) At this point they seem pretty confident in a May 24 opening, and I think if RMC didn't think they could do it, the park wouldn't be promoting it. And if they miss it, it's not a huge deal. They'll still beat Deja Vu.
