I would strongly assume they will repaint it. Silverwood could really care less about what it looked like and what it was named at SFGAm. It's their coaster now.

Look at the pics. Still the same color scheme. There is always the possibility though that might repaint it but at this time it doesn't look like they are going in that direction.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/
Silverwood is a great theme park. Now, DejaVu will feature a nice mountain backdrop. I just hope they can run Vu without having to take out Corkscrew. I can't think of any better park for it, save maybe Kennywood.

Its the original PROMO from 2000 of Dejavu. I clearly remember when I downloaded it, it took like an hour because of dial-up, and I was so impressed. It kind of makes me sad to watch because at the time of its release, we had no idea is was going to go so soon. And now its gone
I was bored as hell roaming through this thread and saw this post, and oh my god, I SO REMEMBER THAT PROMO!!!! Gosh, now I really miss those days. I totally remember watching that over and over. And I remember another one I watched that had the song 'Porcelain' or whatever and I fell in love with that song. I'm definitely saving this promo... *tear*
Haha. Before I ever rode Vu, I remember being "excited" for it, but meh. I wanted to ride it with my friend Fright Fest 01, but my parents wouldn't let us or something. It was annoying. In June the next year, me and the same friend went on it. I wasn't expecting much at first. I honestly thought it looked rather boring in the commercials. But in person, it was different. When we were standing right behind the gates, I was scared to say the least. Lol. Definitely a ride that blew me away, and I wanted to ride it again.
Anyone wanna help me find other previous promos? LOL I'm on a hunt now sadly. I miss the old commercials.
I would imagine that with all the nice weather recently the cobra roll is gone now. Can someone get some new pics? Since the towers take more time, they hsould be starting them soon.
^ The boomerang is still there. Looks like the platform under the boomerang is going to be next because they've taken some of the railings off. No pictures though

If they want to open in July, though, are they really going to want to repaint it right away? Just a thought. You know, for some reason I can really see Vu fitting in at Silverwood quite well.
I seriously doubt that with the amount of time it takes to put this monster together and make sure it runs properly, I doubt it will be repainted. They would rather have Deja Vu with the same colors and open on time then waste time doing something unnecessary and then possibly push back the opening. However, a new home and new name should require a new color somehwere down the line. How about black and silver? Yeah...probably too dark for Silverwood the family friendly park.
^I was sort of thinking the same thing. I think that for the '08 season, they are just going to leave it the way it is. However, I can see them repainting it in the future.
I only got to ride Deja Vu once...August 12, 2007. The ride was closed at first but re-opened. As we were about to step inside the station, Vu was down again. One mechanic and 5 minutes later, I was riding the best coaster at Great America. The only complaint I had was the restraints left too much room so I "fell forward" and was terrified instead of excited about haning 147 feet above ground. What a waste...I owuld have rather lost Demon, Whizzer or Iron Wolf even. Not fair that SFMM is keeps theirs. Infuriates me.
