GREAT update Dave! By the way, is that video an on-ride one? I can't wait to see it. And does anyone know what they're doing on V2? Maybe they're adding the extra supports like they did on WT... I could be wrong though.

No Onride :( They didn't have a POV view of the ride, only a camera that faced the newscaster. Only news people who were going to air footage got to sit in the front row. So if you weren't going to be on camera on the news you couldn't ride in the front row since there was only one seat. So I didn't get a front row ride. If you notice in most my pictures the front row is empty. Doesn't matter though, the real ride is in the back row :)

Yes it really matters, the back row pulls so many more G's in than up front. The closer you are to the front the less intense the ride is.

It's not always about the view Joker... Sometimes it's about airtime, g-forces, etc.

It isn't about the view at all, every seat has the same view...DOWN!

Thanks for the video. You helped me get times for it to do certain things, which I need for physics. Ahh the joy of the internet! No measuring time on Superman for me! You did it for me! Well, except for the exact length (time) of the ride. I'll watch again, maybe I can pull that out of it. You don't happen to have videos of Whizzer, Bull, or Viper, do you?

Travis, after watching my uncut footage of the ride. From the top of the chain lift to the brakes is about 50 seconds.

From what I saw from Supeman's lift hill it looked like V2's train still wasn't complete in the station...it was sort of hard to tell. Im guessing that they had the crane out there to inspect it since it wasn't up there that long. As for being open on May 3rd or 4th, I doubt it.

Yeah, that sucks that DV and V2 both might be closed May 3. I was hoping to get a ride in the very back on V2 cause I heard that's a pretty awesome seat...

yea no joke, don't get your hopes up, just expect the worse but hope for the best. expect for it to be closed and maybe u'll get a nice surprise! haha but yea, dejavugirl, the back seat IS the best, that is one ride i've been on a LOT and i'd have to say the back is the best! especially when you're going backwards up the straight-a-way!

Back does equal best, on that ride anyways. Screw the spiral (no pun intended), being shoved up 180 feet, and being held there, is just insane! But I'm disappointed to that it will probably be down for a while.
