I've especially noticed this year that the wait time signs are way too high. Yesterday RB was listed at 60 minutes when the line was just down the stairs. The app tends to be a little bit more realistic, but still on the high side.

They can't sell you a FP posting 15 minute waits for Bull!

I still think Picto is the next to go...just a hunch.

I'm glad its leaving. It really wasn't that popular. I think that it'll be replaced with either a zanperla giant discovery or a 4d free spin (I don't think the park needs a free spin right now, I think they need a launching coaster right now instead)

Unless it's for something huge that needs the space or something, I'd be pretty annoyed if they take out a ride (even Buccaneer Battle) and continue to leave the Ragin' Cajun spot empty.

Knowing Six Flags logic, it will take a few years for Buccaneer Battle to be killed off.

While the intentions of Buccaneer Battle were good..... the intentions are rendered meaningless, when the ride rarely ever captures a crowd, and the park is essentially paying employees to stand there all day! Now that we have a popular dark ride, Buccaneer Battle essentially serves no purpose what so ever! Hopefully they rip that POS out of the ground soon enough, and replace it with something that will get traffic, and won't be a costly nightmare like Deja Vu

Not sure if this has been posted already but FF is now open and the yellow train is running on Demon. I took a even trip to the park and noticed it. Also both RB and GD were down all day yesterday I guess. Does anybody know why though. I tried to ask a couple employees why they were closed but didn't get a straight answer. All they said is that RB was closed because the storm they had in the morning messed up the breaks.

I would think it would have something to do with their power issue. Justice League drains a lot of their power from SWT.

Raging Bull valleyed, that's why it was closed. It happened during testing before the park opened.

Was it around the Trim of Death? Maybe it'd give enough of a reason for them to turn it off.

I also noticed that FF and the Yellow Demon Train were running. Just forgot to post. :?

I also noticed that Logger's Run is doing limited operations now. 1-8 if I'm not mistaken.

That would explain why there was a crane near it. I wondering where it valleyed though. I couldn't quite tell where the crane was but it looked like it was near the MCBR.

^ Yeah I also noticed that LR is opening later.

It happened right before the "Hammerhead" turn.

Maybe they've learned their lesson and will cut the trims out of the scene...

Hold on a sec. How would you know that the ride is for sure leaving? Unless the park confirms it (Or it appears in an annoucment video for Six Flags America 8)), it's not going anywhere.

This isn't confirmed. This is all speculation. What we think on this forum is that pictorium and bucanneer battle are on the chopping list, but nothing is confirmed.

On this forum, practically half the park is on the 'chopping block'. And most of it is what we want. Yes, some things are more likely than others. BB is probably leaving soon, Go Karts are not. Pictorium might leave, Superman definitely won't leave. We want those to leave, but probably won't. Unless if someone is secretly in upper management, we know jack.

I know it's not confirmed, but in your post, you said "I'm glad it's leaving," even though Carlo said it
may be the ride's last season. Not will be.

So 2 things- 1) Viper has a new lift motor(the pause at the top of the lift is no more!), and they retracked like 100 feet of a single rail. And 2) They're really pushing for faster Bull dispatches. You now have only 30 seconds to store your stuff, and there's a sign of how to prepare for dispatches:

Pretty welcome changes! :)

Nothing on any of the closed rides as of yet, but I'll be here all day.
