It could also be that the voting results are pre-determined and the big 2015 news will still be about one of the options listed. So far, 2015 could deal with Aunt Martha's or whichever one loses next week. Pictorium or Demon.
I'm guessing Demon will get "picked" and they'll tell us there's no news about Demon
Their reasoning is to have a large area to host concert events & competitions but to be honest, I have always felt Wilderness would be much more appropriate. Both are outdoors, they are not arenas. - & for summer events/concerts, wilderness is much more appealing in my opinion. SixFlags St Louis has a huge one (or so it looks). All they have to do is renovate it, doll it up a bit. Seriously cmon :/ But they'll prob have the "excuse" that they had to cut out some seating for our great Goliath. I'd understand that but if they really wanted to keep it & pull people back into that area, they can easily figure it all out. SWA is just...bleh.
With that said, SWA as mentioned, is an eye sore. Even looking at that video they just posted we can see how its not very well maintained or cared about.
Personally, I'm a tad upset they arent teasing for Hurricane Harbor with the 10yr anniversary coming up next year. That just made the most sense to me.
As people might have seen, Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags St. Louis are both rumored to be adding Justice League dark rides next year. It seems like that's something that would fit in well at our park, except that I'd think that if they were doing something that potentially marketable they'd be teasing it (instead of just basically teasing what they're NOT doing). Hmm.
(Also, obviously, if they were doing some sort of dark ride you'd expect they'd have started on it already)

It's not happening unless they're going with a model of under 125 feet (and I certainly hope they're not). They would have to get approval, and they would have already had to post signs saying they were getting approval, and they haven't.
I also don't get why people keep thinking the Go-Karts will be replaced. Yes, we all hate them, but the park clearly doesn't - if they were ever going to get rid of the Go-Karts it was when they put in Riptide Bay, but they rebuilt them, what makes people think they'll be taken out now?

Who The Hell Cares!? Let 'em stay at home and pray! I went to the park not knowing it was Muslim Day It was Flippin Horrendous. Tons of people wait times in excess of 2 hours, 2 1/2 hours to get from the grand Ave exits to the park gates It was a nightmare I am so glad we had a season pass that year because I would have been pissed (I was pissed anyway with all the people but I probably would have gone Dark Phoenix if we only would have had one days)

The calendar is your friend. I visited the park for the first time this year the other day after work with the intention of riding Goliath and whatever else there was time for in the roughly 3 hours until what I assumed was an early August 10pm close. I arrived at the crack of 7 only to find out that the park closes at 8 and Goliath's line was already cut off for the day. 15 seconds of double-checking would have spared me that disappointment, just as it would have spared you the disappointment of going on a day with a group event.

Maybe someone is reading our posts and is using our ideas as the paths.

It was pretty obvious they stalk us after they posted yesterday's video... Demon or Pictorium: Most talked about attraction under a 2015 based topic Removal of rides: Highly talked about ...that's actually pretty much it...
It's possible that we could get the S&S 4d free spin they announced. I've never seen one before but It might be compact enough to go where rajun cajun is. Or if they tear down the pictorium it could probably go there
"Everyone, listen to me! These jerks killed Superboy. They've tried to kill us. Now they say they're going to tear this city apart. I say... like hell."

Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Yeah that's probably the most likely, but there's a chance haha

I thought they can build to at least 150 without that height approval. Hmm.....Guess not, really wish we would get that SkyScreamer though. I'm expecting we would get one soon.

I was looking in old meeting minutes from the Gurne Zoning and Planning board just to confirm this, and it also confirms something else that people often give incorrect info on:
The property is subject to a conditional use permit from 1974, which limits the height of structures within the park to 125 feet. The conditional use permit provides for a variance process to allow structures up to a height of 310 feet. Structures above 310 feet are not allowed.
Also, just as confirmation, they've now posted the agenda for the last meeting before the announcement and there is no Great America. So now we know for sure, there will NOT be a new ride of over 125 feet for 2015.
Didn't Great America get a height varriance for Deja Vu way later in the year? if I recall it wasn't until late Spetember that they got a varriance for Vu,
