Glad to see this topic...maybe someone can answer this. It was very near the end of the season '06 we were in line for Roaring Rapids and saw literally HUNDREDS upon HUNDREDS of items in the water there. ID's, credit cards, season passes, cameras, watches, coins, you name it. I just couldn't believe the amount of stuff. Everyone in line was commenting on it. I can see a few things being there but there was just so much stuff. How on earth did all this stuff wind up there?
I don't get how on a ride like RR someone can loose their ID, credit card, thong, etc...the money people throw in like me but why would you throw in anything else?
^Exactly. And how could you lose a wristwatch? We are not talking about a few random items here. There were literally dozens of watches and cameras, and just literally hundreds of IDs and credit cards. It's as if the entire contents of the lost and found dept. for the whole season were dumped in that pond. I just don't get it.
Ididn't find much of anything except about $50 in coins in the '08 season. When I was walking under Bull to go to Viper I decided to stand under the first drop because it was cool and I was hit in the head by a bag of Jolly Rancher. I never want my candy to attack me at 60 mph again.
Oh I once found this year an Ipod Nano on American Eagle. You know each section of the red cart? Iwas sitting int he 4th section in the fron and the Nano hit my feet.
I found an ipod shuffle at River Rocker. What I swear was semen in the Giant Drop cave. ....if you've been there for Fright Fest this year you will have noticed the real raw meat at Ricochet.
the numerous cards at Rapids, once found a school ID to a kid I went to high school with. hundreds of coins, that i just leave there, would take too long to pick them up.

I noticed the real meat at Ricoslay that was just gross
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
I love all those people with those "garbage pickers" walking around near restaurants and near rides picking up trash. They have no idea how much I appreciate that. It is not the most pleasant job but I appreciate that kind of thing ya know?
I am a victim of a cell phone falling out on SUF. It was right after the pretzel knot loop. The g's pushed it out of my pocket and behind my head, and when we flipped back up, it was like between my head and the seat, and it just fell out. It was the worst feeling every. AND IT WAS IN THE GRASS SO IT DIDN'T SHATTER that bad, but they never found it.
The person behind me was like, PHONE.
Oh, and on Raging Bull, someones glasses flew back and hit me in the face.
On V2 someone put their flip flops on the station ground under the train, and when the train would pass, they would move forward.. and then back, and they ended up right back under his seat. It was so funny.
I was on Yankee Clipper, and all of the water went away. I got a free ride exit pass, but I couldn't use it on superman.
