Thank you^^^ You know that street right next to the park by S:UF where it elads from the employee parking lot to the guests parking lot? Well they can use that to build like a floorless or anyother coaster. If you ask me the parks appearance does count and cleaness plays a major role for firt time guests, so that should be a major goal for SF next year. And the Revolution could be where the arcade is rite next to Dare Devil Dive, and still have the Ameri-Go-Round. Way better, you dont need two arcades right next to each other.
No matter how hard it is...Never EVER give up. The real failure is those who dont try.
Well, that service road that leads from the employee lot to the guest lot is needed. Many times in the summer employees don't get out until midnight or later, and Gurnee codes prohibit driving out of that lot past midnight. It bugs the neighbors. So after midnight the left over employees must exit from the guest lot. So, nix the idea of using the service road. Besides it's also how maintenance got their trucks to Shockwave when I worked there, so it's probably also the way they get to S:UF.
Welcome to ShockWave please pull your harness down as far as it will go. While riding ShockWave please keep your hands and feet inside the car, and your head against the headrest, please hold on to all loose articles, especially hats and glasses. Enjoy your ride!
It looks like there are two roads, one inside the barbed wire fencing (for maintenance, dead ends at Superman); and the regular one connecting the parking lots, outside the barbed wire fencing. That way maintenance isn't leaving the park to get to Superman and employees can still get back and forth between lots without entering the park.
There is a great restaurant in my town call Mitch's Chicago Style Grill. It's hard to explain the inside but the theme here is baseball. It's pretty simple, black aluminum ceiling painted black, unpainted A/C, heating ducts, faded green walls, brown floor. There is a small arcade in one corner that is meant to look like it's behind the batting fence.
The menu is comparable to Culver's but better in my opinion. Basics:
Chicago style hot dog
Corn dog
Cheeseburger
Gyros
Italian beef/sausage
Patty melt
Chicken
BBQ beef
Tons of appetizers (cheese fries, o-rings, mozzarella stix, etc.)
Shakes and ice cream
Beer and wine (and obviously the soft drinks/milk/water)
This would be the perfect addition to Hometown Square. What screams 1920's to you more than baseball?! It's hip, it's fast, teens, kids, families, adults all love it. Build one large enough with indoor seating and a manageable menu that's not too extensive and you've got the perfect place for families that boasts capacity and the American menu Six Flags is focusing on without your same-old, same-old burger and fries bit. The theming is superb, and it would fit in perfectly at Six Flags.
Ok. You just replied to a topic that was like 4 months old. O well, that's cool. But what the heck did you put that picture there for dude. That is wierd. It pretty much has nothing to do with this topic.

Anyway, I don't have anymore changes since Shapiro is basically doing everything right, but it might be nice to see a laser show like Cedar Point's, rather than fireworks. Especially since the neighbors might put up a fight.
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
I would add the tallest, fastests water slide for hurricane harbor & add 2 rollercosters. 1 would be similar to Kingda Ka and the 2nd one would be a floorless. I would also have more events & some celebrities come to the park.
From being one of the class geeks in 8th grade to one of the most noticable ones in High School. Thats what you call "Steppin Yo Game Up!"
-Paint B:TR to orignal color scheme
-get new B&M bullet trains for Iron Wolf
-Remove V2 and Logger's Run and put in a B&M dive machine (it could be done with careful planning)
-give Condor a better program (more time at the top)
-refurbish all the trains on Whizzer
Tear down Whizzer and put in an 8 inversion B&M Floorless in its spot.
Build a rocket coaster with a layout something like Storm Runner. Build it where ever it would fit. If it could.
If it's possible, I would make V2's launch faster because it seems week.
Build a McDonalds there and a Pizza Hut.

Both FDR714 and Gansta Fruit 26 want to ruin the Great park of Great America by taking out theming and dropping coasters everywhere. First, the theming at GAm is very good for SF, if you take it out, it will look like a park with trees. Then dropping coasters everywhere, this isnt RCT 2, where you can build a coaster on top of a coaster. An accelerator coaster in SFGAm would not make a good addition cause they are overall pointless; out, top hat, few turns, if lucky an inversion and back. Getting rid of Whizzer for a stupid floorless, seriously, what is it with all you people a stupid floorless, it is like any other ride just without a stupid floor. Whizzer will never be removed for a stupid floorless, if it is removed, something of a bigger reputation or calibur will be put in its spot. Great America just needs to add little things here and there...
-More exact time for waits on rides
-covers over queue that are in exposed areas to the sun
-repave areas of the park (though it should be done, Sevart said they were doing it this offseason)
-new highway sign
-maybe a new innovative flat ride
-all rides open when they can be at max capacity
and many more little things on that nature
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
I would add a BM Floorless where Shockwave parts sat. I woul take out Ice Mountain Splash and Put in a Rocket Coster. Also I would sweeze in a BM dive machine

I never said they should just get rid of it and not put new theming back. And I never said to put any coasters anywhere.
I know what you said, the new coasters was directed to Gansta, but with the taking out of the scenery, it would just change the whole face of SFGAm and be completely different and ruin the tradition, even with new scenery. You have to leave it there, it is classic and Marriott's did a really good job with it, I can never see SFI doing that, the new management at SFI is going to have to show that they are capable of putting well themed areas and rides before you can let them redo the theming SFGAm, well keep the same themed areas, just put redo the scenery.

I was the one who said get a floorless and an accelerator. I don't really call that dropping coasters everywhere. And if you don't like a floorless coasters, well than that's your opinion. But to me, A brand new, 150 ft, B&M coaster, that has huge super smooth soaring inversions, is way more thrilling and entertaining than a 90 ft, 27 year old, ugly looking, non inverting coaster. I never even said anything about scenery so I don't really know why you said that.

They at leats need to add scenery. Dont you think?
I would relocate the entire park to a larger location if that counts. lol I would add several more rides, and a few coasters.
If not:
-Take out Iron Wolf
-build a sky swat
-build a screamin swing
-build a 4d coaster
-build a GCI woodie similar to Roar
-build a small rocket coaster
-build a Medusa east clone
-build a master blaster in HH
-build a dark ride
-build a parking garage
-buy some land back around the park
-build a small marine life area(for the families)
-build a concert venue
-and sell the park back
