I used to get really scared before I rode roller coasters and afterwards be happy as can be. Now I feel so comfortable and safe on coasters things like falling out never cross my mind.

Anybody ever go to the park when they were younger (Like, before the age of 10) and ride Viper? I remember getting the living piss scared out of me when my lapbar wouldn't go down all the way and hung on for dear life because I was afraid of airtime.

Yeah, I was 8 when I rode it in 1995 but I wasn't afraid. I was never afraid of coasters or any ride.

The little bars that go into the armrests are mechanically connected directly to the pivoting of the seats. The only way they will go in is when the seats swing back down to the sitting position.

Plus add to that, that the chanes of the hydraulics holding the restraint fail, are abouy as likely as you getting struck by lighting while skipping down I-80.

Ahh, yeah I remember being so scared on roller coasters. I kind of miss it actually, it made it really fun. Of course it's still amazing even though they don't creep me out anymore. It's just one of those undescribable feelings.
