Just to let you know when I used my exit pass for RC they made us wait for the purple train. He said that they are only loading the purple train with exit pass people.

I believe it's every other train on the coasters, then again Cajun' is hardly a normal coaster so 1 car sounds fine.

Instead of waiting IN the line, they would sit on a bench inside the station.

Um, sure. SAFETY!?

Apperently Brad you've never been to Kings Island, Because they have that type of area fenced off on Vortex and Son of Beast, so its 100% accurate.

Something between people and the trains...

I think he is saying a fence is serperating people on the benches from the platform, while being on the platform, sounds kind of weird.

Excuse me...

I know of plenty of teens who have gotten surgery (ankle, etc.) and are legitimently on crutches.

Also, you can't say handicapped people should go by themselves. They often times need someone else there to help them, and a ride op isn't enough.

According to what I have been told regarding ADA, the park cannot ask for documentation regarding someone's disability.

With the HIPPA act, you definitely can't gain access to someone's medical records without the person's permission.

So basically, the park is stuck having to accept someone's claim of a disability.

I'm not sure if this would work, but what about a simple note signed by a doctor that says something to the effect:

The note could have wrote:This person has some sort of undisclosed disability that restricts them from waiting in the regular line for rides and attractions.

This way, Six Flags doesn't have any more information about a person's disability than what the person would tell Six Flags themself.

However, this technically is documentation regarding a disability.

Holy Double Post too!

I don't think many people are going to go to their doctor just for documentation to go to Six Flags. This isn't PE class. I don't think Six Flags is going to be able to do much regarding the disable pass policy except limit the riding itself. If they try not to give passes out, that is just baiting lawsuits.

While laws such as HIPAA do limit what Six Flags can legally obtain about the person in question, there isn't a law that states that Six Flags needs to provide the kind of exit pass service they provide. They could easily put limits without some sort of proof.

I don't think that people can use those as an excuse anymore.

And about the teens with the handicap passes. That's stereotyping. When I last went I was actually with a kid that had to use cruches. But we didn't even do too much damage with the pass. Used it on Batman twice and Raging Bull once. And onetime with Batman, we came back when there wasn't even a line. (They write down a time for you to come back.)

And yeah, there is a limit to four people. And with the group I was in we had more than four people. We stuck with the rule though so only three of would go with the kid on crutches.

I often see random teenagers without a disabled person somehow with exit passes. The ride it pisses me off the most at is Viper...because they always seem to pick my row. Always.
1. Voyage
2. X
3. Millenium Force
4. Top Thrill Dragster
5. Raging Bull

They usually get those if they get stuck on a ride, or any other inconvenience at Six Flag's expense. 98% of the time those people without a disabled person are legit.

I got A complete guest pass because I sprained my leg on S:UF. I can use it as many times as I want in the 2005 season. I guess they didn't want to get sued...
