I assume so and be on the look out for any construction over at SSA/Go-Karts as if anything does go there next year they would start now especially with Huuricane Harbor closed and that area pretty much dead.

It is a possibility, but I doubt they would re-open it. I'm sure if it's closed now it will stay closed for its seasonal rehab and what not. Plus, the cabin has not been seen and sources indicate it is also being painted (and most likely refurbished as well I would hope). I don't know why the park would rush something like this considering the ride is always closed at this time of the year anyhow so it's not going to make or break a visit because someone didn't get their ride on it. Maybe I'm wrong....who knows?
^ Sky Trek Tower is not closing this year. No point closing the ride when they're only painting Monday - Thursday.
Whan I drove by today at around 2:00 PM the middle of the tower was a dark blue but the top and bottom still only had the blue lines.

^My geuss is that it will probobly open about half way through Fright Fest.
Sky Trek Tower is supposed to be open for all of Fright Fest except the weekend of the 10th.
Of course the first time I'm going it's going to be closed

Just drove pass the park about ten minutes ago and YES, the tower is blue! The crows nest area is red, and the cabin, i'm not to sure of because it was parked at the bottom.They still have bottom of the tower and part of the top near crows nest to paint . It DOES change the skyline a LOT. I was going down grand ave and wasnt even looking for it because i was thinking about something else and BAM! there it was..it gets your attention lol. I didnt have a camera on me so sorry that i didnt get any pics this time. I'd still like to see Larry up there, but if not possible, oh well...

^ Don't you mean Tiny? I have not seen her and her kids show up as of the middle of this week.
I also don't see the normal "Fright Fest Flag" on top of STT. That could be that they are painting, as they did take Old Glory down in the middle of the week. --Brian

I have some questions just who came up with these names? and why is it such a big deal if people don't use the same name you all do?

^ And the park named the spider on Eagle back in 1991 "Tiny".
For years, it was always a mystery if Tiny was a male spider, or a female spider. That question got an answer a few years back, when 3 or 4 baby spiders showed up on the ride. Tiny had babies!  --Brian

- the FF flag is up today - larry is not on STT - tiny and babies are all up - this year they put up cornstalks on the enterance by washington street - A.E. is not closed off in the station - the six flags by the enterance are now FF flags.(they were't on wednesday) - FF flag on grand is up. -tiny was up today but de-flated(the 3 kis were inflated) --------------- in the pics coming soon i have a pic of them actually putting up the kids on A.E.
I found out that they are going to have a DJ live up in SkyTrek until Raging Bull hits 1.5 million riders.

Is all our park and there park like to do is copy each other (sister park in California)? They have Invertigo, we got Deja Vu. They have a mouse, we have one. We have Batman, they have an inverted B&M. We have Iron Wolf, they have an Iron Wolf. We got a flying coaster, and so did Great America until they got rid of it. They also have a free admission waterpark, and so do we.

As an FYI to those wanting to go soon, the Sky Tower is closed due to being painted. They are painting ride today, but doing so via brush is going very slow.
Sky Trek Tower was originally supposed to stay open all of Fright Fest, however, as of right now, it is not scheduled to reopen until the 16th
