People are gonna kick me in the pants for saying this but I really don't want anything. If the park could change anything, I'd want them to clean up the park and give it some charm back.

^That is a great idea, but unfortunately I don't see this happening. I would love to see them bring back the themeing, but like I sais I don't see it happening.

Then by putting in a splash battle they are living up to their reputation.

I think Six Flags Great America is doing one thing right...they actually do add new stuff at least every other year. Whether it is a coaster/new themed area like Mardi Gras or a water park or a stunt show we do get stuff quite frequently. The downside? Either not a lot of effort is put in or the park does not realize they need a balance between families and thrill seekers. They also don't know what to invest there money to.

My point is that they have no understanding of how to fit in their food and scenery with their rides. Any park can put in rides but it takes a great park to have both.

So you are speaking indirectly of how Marriott ran the park?
"The rides are GREAT, The shows are GREAT, the fun is GREAT. At Marriott"s GREAT AMERICA!"

They ran it over 20 years ago. Times have changed. The park is completely different now. So is the theme park industry.

That doesn't have to mean anything. There are still a bunch of parks out there that put time and money into theming each section of their park complete with the rides, food, games, etc. It makes the experience a lot better because when I think "Hm, what do I want for lunch?" I have more choices then Pizza, Chicken Strips, and Cheeseburgers...

not fair Magic Mountain gets the only coaster so far...they have the most out of all the parks I think. More than enough. The excuse that they have more competition is getting old and tired. I heard their revenue was not at all impressive even with additions like Tatsu in 2006. One new ride will not magically increase their revenue and profit in one season by too much.

Anybody notice this??? Look at number 5. I have a feeling it is going to be a splash battle just the way they explain it. I could be wrong though. Also it says nothing about a new ride at HH but the 2009 attraction could be for HH.

I don't think a Dive Machine can fit in Vu's spot or would they put part of it across the midway?

If they did put in a dive machine it would probebly be in both vu's amd SWF's spots, it would have to go over or under the midway then.
