Security will be sure to have fun with the line jumpers now...

I am also not trying to cut you down or anything but do you rate coasters on experience, layout, theming, ect......I'm just wondering because I think its different to rate Mummy #1.
Nah, it's cool. I rate my top 10s in terms of overall experience. I like Mummy cause it can thrill in ways most rides can't, whereas in the case of Millennium Force, you have a boring and average ride after the drop. Nevertheless, I understand Dark Knight won't be on the level of Mummy, but the plans definitely make it seem like they have definitely made the most of the budget given to it!
I wonder how it'll look from Superman's drop?! Anyone think there'll be an onride photo?!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
Since that the queue will already have graffiti, do you think that park guests will be able to contribute? I know people will anyway, but do you think it will be okay?
haha, i'm apparently the only one who enjoys that ride. What's nice about disaster transport, and ours too, is that we FINALLY have a decent ride to escape the elements (rain, cold, heat, etc.) which'll be a change for our park!

/\ That was Chubasco's job, escape the elements. Well, I think were CP went wrong with DT is that they themed the queue well, but just themed the ride with black light painting, which isn't that good

That's true except for chubasco, rue le, dodge, and the carousel. Of course, as mentioned, none of the queues are sheltered I'm pretty sure.

I enjoy DT, but I think it's a shame that the themeing all went to hell.
^ Kinda thought the same thing. Being the huge Batman fan that I am. I am really looking forward to BOTH Dark Knights! Seeing the pics on here of the ride, and seeing/POSTING the trailer to the movie. I am all giddy inside now!
Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker will be immortalized in TDK !
If anything, part of my first ride on TDK will be in honor of the one man that could fill the shoes of Jack as the Main Villian to Batman!!!
Push down, then pull up. Exit to your left/right. And, enjoy the rest of your day at Six Flags! Your friendly enthusiast Kyle.
Apparently, I had a lot of catching up done this morning about this ride. Thanks RCT2Wizard for sharing the pictures. The layout look fantastic! The train as a subway is a clever approach and I'm sure it will fit with the movie somehow. Thanks again!

I agreed with you. I hope they do. The last time I was at SFGAm which was back in 2004. Yeah a while ago. The decor around BTR wasn't really working but the ride itself. Let hope that TDK will encourage the park to do a better job.

Just a stupid thought... Why not have the security dress up like Batman while supervising the quene line and if any problem... punch and pow and all that old school Batman punch line.
cycamps wrote:Hopefully it won't turn out like Disaster Transport.
Please let hope not. I was at Cedar Point 2 years ago and yeah the theme was "cute" but I never saw it on the opening day. The ride was fun but in the queue line, it is a little "cheap". I mean it in both cost and the design. I'm sure they can upgrade it some how but it is prob too late for it. I don't mean to diss Cedar Point but that's probably the only thing I have against them.
Anyway... I'm looking forward to ride TDK! Oh... Someone mention about the Mummy. I think that The Mummy at USF will outrank TDK since it has the state of the art technology. It is a great ride which I was there a few years ago. I am curious how much risk Six Flags are willing to give in order to outrank a good dark ride such The Mummy at USF!

Weird- SF St Louis announces that they are building the Evel Knievel coaster, and then he dies, now Heath Ledger dies during the construction of DK. I wonder if the surviving members of Led Zeppelin are concerned (new Led Zep coaster at Hard Rock Park)
