4595 Rides yes I miss Shockwave. However truth is it's now more cost effective to buy a new coaster then rebuild ShockWave. I fear I'll never get 5 more rides on it I really think it will end up in a landfill, or be melted down for cash, just like Sky Whirl.

Lets put it this way, the pieces are in such bad shape the whole ride would have to be refurbished before consturction costing big $$$. It would cheaper just to buy a new Arrow mega looper.

i heard a rumor from an "expert" in Magic Springs info that it may end up there. But take it for what it's worth, a rumor.

I didn't think you could get a "new" arrow coaster anymore.

It might have to be an S&S Arrow ride. Plus, I'm not sure if they would still build a looper like Shockwave.

I don't think Magic Springs is going to add Shockwave next year. They just build a SLC called the Gauntlet. It is 2,200 feet long, 10 stories high, 60 mph and has 5 loops. It wouldn't make sense, but hey it could happen.

I'm shocked to see one of the biggest rumors isn't locked, but I do have to say it should go to Elitch Gardens, Great Escape (only 6 coasters), or somewhere outside the SF chain.

I don't think they will get it next year. but MAYBE in 06. But like I said, it was just a rumor & probably NOT true. I would actually prefer not. I would like them to get it and all, but not as their next coaster.

If you want to ride shockwave, go to SFGAdv, go ride Great American Scream Machine, a clone of Shockwave because Shockwave is DEAD!
