From Screamscape "2014 - Sky Screamer / Star Flyer - (8/23/12) Don’t ask me how or why... but listen to me know and believe me later. Six Flags New England will NOT be adding a Star Flyer ride until at least the 2014 season, opening up 2013 for something else entirely. Stay tuned..." Makes me wonder if after all we will be getting a Skyscreamer. Hopefully if we do though it will be taller than the one at Six Flags Saint Louis because it kind of seemed boring compared to Windseeker at Cedar Point.
^ That wouldn't make a difference. We wouldn't be getting the Star Flyer intended for SFNE. It is too tall, so SFNE cancelling would have no relevance to our 2013 plans.
Just because they point to Sky Trek Tower does not mean anything! They could be pointing to a location for the new ride, and then point out that it can't be higher then Sky Trek without approval!
All of these Video's are STAGED! They didn't Stumble Upon them on the bridge, its all planned and they could just be staging it on the bridge to throw us all off! Now they have us believe its probably something in the front of the park! In a few days they could take a video in a different part of the park just to screw you up
^It's probably small multiple things. Go back, and read all those little phrases when the girl is in yellow maybe. I know the video is staged. There are other bridges they could have went to, but the bridge they are at has Sky Trek Tower in the background, and they are pointing at it.
How about a retheme of Condor to Lex Luthor? White tower - blue top (meaning the Condor bird).. Than, it says Red Arrow going down. The arrow going down reminds me of the symbol for Magic Mountain Lex Luthor.
I guess my final guess would be:
-Condor retheme to something Superman -Sky Trek Tower either lighting or new paint or both ...My theory on the above 2 is that maybe the park thinks hey we don't need a SkyScreamer. We have 2 rides that people at the park like already (that sort of simulate a SkyScreamer), and thus let's refurbish / retheme them so they will last a long time. -Dark Knight getting themed to I guess the Dark Knight Rises -New ride I would think would be a kiddie ride added to the other kiddie rides where Iron Wolf is -Maybe new show for Grand Music Hall -Obviously, the Pictorium would have Part 3 unless they just stop that completely. -Still think something is happening with American Eagle whether it's refurbishment or being torn down.

^That camera has been at other parks...I believe someone stated it was at St Louis park last week filming as well. I think they re reshooting all of the stock footage of the parks it was stated.
^Just to mention in that picture, that camera is not taking video of American Eagle. It's taking it of X-Flight. I was assuming it was of American Eagle because it's right above it, but look at where the lens is.

I really doubt that they would remove American Eagle now or in the near future. It is still a great ride, gets alot of riders, and is very popular. It finished second to Raging Bull in the coaster madness thing they did on facebook. I just don't see it going anywhere.
Well, The boys at Catepillar went back to work and settled the strike, I bet we're gonna get a BULL doser.
Candy: What you lookin' at? Otis B. Driftwood: I'm lookin' at you, mama. Candy: Yeah, you see something you like? Otis B. Driftwood: Maybe. I set my standards pretty low, so I'm never disappointed.
Not that I have anything to add for the 2013 convo, but I was at the park Monday unfortunately, and when I saw it, the helicopter was hovering over Yankee Harbor over the arcade building near batman.
Also as has been said these video's are 100% staged, I'd say anything you see in any of the videos you can effectively rule out, if it's in the background but still visible, then you can double rule it out. The whole idea of these videos actually has nothing at all to do with 2013, they are being made to create buzz and get SFGAm into peoples heads during what is traditionally a slow period. That's how PR works, next week at this time we will all know exactly what just about every SF park will be getting including SFGAm, and it really won't change a damn thing.

No, we don't, but I'm sure once next week rolls around and the announcement is made you'll be there to tell us you where. The only way to prove your right is to tell us what you think it is and then we see if thats whats announced. If all you can say is look at the envelope, then theres no doubt in my mind you don't have any more information than the rest of us.
Just like the people on Facebook that claim that their parents work for the company and were at the 2013 meeting and then put together rumors to create one stupid and terribly fake "answer".
Let me start by saying that I know the dangers of listing to the "lemon chill guy"
Today in the park I went to Aunt Martha's for lunch. The lady in front of me in line complimented the establishment and the employee had an interesting response. He said that he agreed that it is a great place to eat and its too bad its not re-opening next year. When I followed up with why it wouldn't re-open he said that his supervisor informed him that a new coaster would be taking its place. Again I know not a great source but interesting none the less.
In addition to this, I have a reliable source that told me that upon Iron Wolf's removal the land was surveyed and the data was sent to Intamin and B&M. Before I get a million requests for my source this person requested to stay anonymous. If you don't believe this without the source its no skin off my back.
Here is what I think is happening: Somewhere in the line of communication the idea of the Aunt Martha's plot and a roller coaster were crossed. I could easily see a sky screamer being placed at the Aunt Martha's Location as it is probably the correct size for something like that. I would guess that in 2014 we should look for a coaster of some kind in Wolf's ride area. Thoughts?
-Remember there's nothing but air beneath the chair.
I kind of find it hard that they would remove Aunt Maratha's Boarding House as it's always pretty crowded for lunch and dinner. Also, that leaves Moooseburger Lodge, Johnny Rocket's in Mardi Gras and then the pizza place in Hometown Square as the last 3 places to eat indoors, but who knows.
Aunt Martha's is amazing there chicken is great...but i wouldnt mind seeing that go for a skyscreamer ect...but hopefully it is a new ride(: but i think it would be funny if all these speculations are all WRONG and its nothing big
I'm new to the site. I'm a coaster fanatic who use to haaaate coasters. I love them now and consider myself a coaster enthusiast. In the past 2 years I've been to St. Louis twice, Great Adventure once, and America once. I definitely don't break the news, I have no sources, I'm just intrigued to see what is coming next. I want bigger and better.
I see a lot of people talking about a 'Skyscreamer;' what's the fascination with the Skyscreamer?
Also, who saw the article about a possible LIM ride at Great America? Where did you find the article? Did anyone happen to see the Premier Rides article about the launch ride coming to California? Find it on purecoaster.com. Any chance we see any news break for Great America prior to August 30th?
I just want to know am I the only person who got the survey on Six Flag's website that allowed you to pick your park, and at the end it had additional questions about future rides? The survey had a Zacspin,Disco Coaster and Giant Inverted Boomerang.
I also got a survey about a loyalty program, and it asked if you would be interested in joining if you received exclusive ride time on our new 2013 coaster. Has anyone else received this, or know anything about this??
There were no names or hints to a skyscreamer. I would be very annoyed if we got one. I'd rather ride Condor! I could see American Eagle getting updated, or bringing back a new and improved Giant Inverted Boomerang.
I would love a Dive Coaster or launch like Joker's Jinx!!
^Are you sure your not signed up for other parks like SFStL email? That could be from another park. Before, I was signed up for multiple parks like SFStL, and probably SFOG. I got there stuff too.

I am only signed up for Great America. I got the inital survey 2 times once on my home pc which is when I picked GA and got the ride survey. The 2nd time I was at work researching for a trip to Six Flags America, so that time I picked America and didn't get offered a ride survey only questions about improving the site, and if I had a season pass.
The other survey came from an advisory panel for Great America
