If people knew something like Raging Bull 2.0 was coming they wouldn't cry over losing Demon, Whizzer or Wolf. Wolf would probably get most people's vote. No point in repairing it when it consistently has the fewest people and it has been ignored by everyone for years.
If they do anything to Bull it should be what was supposed to be done to the ride when it was built. Which was having the finale go through a old ghost town like city with buildings and such.
People keep saying that Iron Wolf doesn't deserve a make-over or fix-up. If I were Shapiro I would get rid of Iron Wolf & get a new roller coaster. However, there is some potential for the ride, & I think it could be a good idea to do a fix-up of Iron Wolf. I think the main reason people do not go on it is b/c of it's oldness & rough ways, if they were to come up with some money to fix the tracks, trains, etc., then maybe it could become the roller coaster it once was. However, I still think that selling the roller coaster & getting a new one would be the better idea.

Bad idea. Why waste money (they dont even have) to fix up an already horrbile coaster? Might as well use it on a new one and get rid of that peice of headache junk. We've had the same coasters for a while now and since the demolishion of De Ja Vu (not good) and the building of The Dark Knight (not any better), the park has been kinda a bore if your there all day long. The rides get repetitive and same old same old. If they have a stash of money laying around to be used, dont use it on Iron Wolf. It should go towards a new coaster. ROLL ON!!!
I Love Roller Coasters! I Love The Adrenaline! I Love Winded Hair! I Love Theme Parks! I Love Warm Pretzels! LOL

It's not a horrible Coaster! But I only go on the front.....for some reason, if I'm in the second row I get a nasty Headache...The only way I got on it is in the front, and that's the way I like it!!! It definitely has potential to be better though

I am sure there is new technology to design new trains. Iron Wolf was the first B&M coaster ever, and the 3rd stand up coaster in the US. I would hate to see it go. I think it isn't that bad of a coaster, I love it when it goes in the corkscrew and how compact it is. I am sure if the bumpiness was fixed, more people would ride it. But I think every park is not complete without a bumpy coaster

But seriously, they won't take out another ride until they replace spash water falls and space shuttle america. (a Euro-Fighter would be awesome )
What gets me is that why some people think families don't kike thrill rides...they do. Moms, dads, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles all either love checking them out or talking about going on them one day or even how awesome it looks but they are afraid...everything builds buzz

But yeah, new trains would be the only thing really necessary for IW, But American Eagle makes SFGAm complete with it's bumpiness.
Seriously, Wolf and Eagle are not bad at all. I guess you don't realize it until you ride some other coasters that are worse...and there are many that are much worse. Eagle is fine, doesn't need anything changed and its a great ride. Iron Wolf could use some new trains, but seriously there is barely any head banging on that ride. I rode it 6 times already this season and I walked off just fine.
Random example...
Manhattan Express is a VERY fun and smooth ride! I don't know what Rob or anyone else who follows him is talking about. I walked off and said "wow what a great ride"!
I didn't mean it that way.....You made it sound like I don't like IW and AE, when truthfully. I like them both!
Eagle is one of my favorites at the park!
I don't understand why people complain about Iron Wolf, I have no problems with head banging either...It's all in people's heads. For Example, I came off demon with a headache the first time I went in the front row, but never again after that....It was all in my head, probably because it was my first time on Demon....and front row...Yeah, I get nervous as a first-timer.

^For Iron Wolf, you have to work with the ride to not get head-banged. Most people don't do that, and it happens. Why should you have to work with the ride though? Why can't you just have your head forward all the time, and not to the side? If the harnesses were wider, and the harnesses not hard, people would like the ride much, much better. Instead, when all the roller coasters are crowded, thankfully Iron Wolf is pretty short.
Even though I don't get head-banged, it still gets my ears because of those newer harnesses that are terrible. I'm not going on it just yet because why should I when it's the emptiest ride when it's crowded in the park.

WOW! It's very clear that Iron Wolf is getting the best of this debate, w/ many people saying they like it & others not so much. I know that some of you are saying things like "it's not that bad," but that still means it's pretty bad. The ride is definitely not exhilarating, especially in comparison to Raging Bull, Superman: Ultimate Flight, & V2.
I rode Chang and Mantis but for whatever reason still enjoy Iron Wolf more; maybe because it's basically element after element after element.
The trick to riding Wolf is to ride it like an Arrow; lean your head against the restraints into the turns. It also works (for me at least) is to get the restraint down as far as possible then lean your head forward. If you can get your ears out of the restraints you should be fine; I rode front row and back row like that last Saturday with no problems.

You seriously need to stop pressing your opinions on others. "its not that bad" does NOT mean "it's pretty bad".
Grow up.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Woah, You prefer Wolf over Chang? That's crazy-talk. I agree about Wolf>Mantis tho. I also don't see where/how people get headaches on IW. I always ride in the back row, and have never had a problem with it.
Oh, and since when is S:UF "exhilarating"?
Coasters Ridden: 131 Top 5: Maverick, El Toro, Voyage, Fahrenheit, Dominator
Superman is still way better than BTR which literally is at least a minute shorter than it should be. At least you fly with Superman. Every park deserves a flyer and ours is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

Out of all the flyers...Superman is the worse one....
Ive been on all different models (Vek/B&M/Zamperla) except AIR. And Superman is just slow and forceless. I mean, its not a bad coaster and I will still ride it if the line is under 5 mins. But its just not...that good.

Chang was enjoyable but for whatever reason I found it to be rather boring; I just didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
