^ You'll still have a chance if they don't offer you a job on the first interview. Sometimes they want to see what other candidates are out there.
But, enjoy the 1-interview-lifestyle while you can. My first full time job in the real world took 3 interviews (with the same people) before I was offered the job. Another job I had applied for took 5 interviews (I lost out on the last round).
Why would you even want to work for Six Flags? If one person who you work with doesn't like you and they happen to be at the top of the "social food chain," you're screwed. Plus you could make just as much money or more by working at any other place, especially at a restaurant. I know a lot of people who have worked there and most of them either ended up hating it because of drama between workers or they ended up working there for a long time and now have nothing going for them in their lives besides the fact that they work at six flags.
Well, part of life is working with others no matter what their problem is. If you do your best, keep a positive attitude, and follow directions, you usually won't have a problem in the long run.

I have experienced it first hand, but not by working there. Like I said, many people who I know (10+ people) have worked there and they either fell into one of the two categories that I explained above. It's only a SFGAM thing. Most of the other SF parks don't have that, because they have people who are trying to make money to go to school, not people who think that they're going to be the next vp of the park.

Being in management for SFGAm got me an easy in for an internship in so-cal.

Most. I know that one of the people who I know is now working at disney and another one is high up at SFGAM. I wasn't referring to you though, so stop freakin out dude
I'm just pointing out that the whole Six Flags thing has terribly messed up some people that I know.

Just means there's some snotty self-centered people working there. Oh well, ignore them if possible. If they're your boss, just go the extra mile to prove yourself.

That's a good attitude to have, but if you're working 5 days a week for 6 or 7 hours a day, eventually most people will snap. Plus you have to be careful, because let's say your boss is being a big pain in the butt and you decide to vent to another worker. Well if that worker is trying to be a suck up to your boss, then they'll tell the boss how you feel and then the boss won't like you and then you'll have Six Flags drama.
One of my friends got on the bad sides of most of his co-workers over something really stupid and then they overworked him at a different section and he had a minor mistake on one of the rides he was working and they instantly fired him. Didn't ask any questions or even let him explain himself, they just cut him off, because the park is generally run by drama-loving girls or girly guys who love drama as well (generally, so don't freak out sfgam 07).
Wow, that's stupid. I can relate to girly guys if you've ever heard one of the Triple Play ride-ops and you know what I'm talking about yankee Clipper91

I don't see what the "huge" deal is...I worked there 3 summers and just decided to "move on" with my life not because of "drama" or co-workers. I always wanted a job there, I had one, and I moved on.
With any job you take, you have to learn to keep the non-work related issues out of the workplace environment. Co-Workers start hanging out "off-the-job" (which isn't illegal by any means) but that's when much of the drama and conflict develops (talking behind people's backs or complaining about other co-workers) and if you work on the same crew or in the same general section of the park...you get the people who just don't learn to mind their own business and gossip and rumors pursue...which then puts particular people in trouble, and then everyone basically begins to "shun" that person.
I can honestly say that this is not just a team member issue, because there were definitely some of my co- leads and supervisors that had difficult times with this too. If you aren't a on a particular side of an issue, then you're usually pulled in the middle trying to "mediate" for both parties (which isn't fun either..trust me). If you gave people the vibe that you could care less about what person X said to person Y last night after work, then people usually didn't come up to you with their issues that had nothing to do with their job performance.
If you remembered you had a job to do (whether or not you envisioned yourself as becoming the next GM as some people thought) and you put consistent effort into it, you were fine. The people who constantly tried to create and start gossip/rumors were the ones who had the "short end of the stick".
Does it say when they will get back to you? So if you get the job probably means you will get to go to the park earlier than anyone else in the public...lucky
I'm 15 and it would be my first job so my chances aren't so good. It didn't say anything about when they would get back to me but the website says just submit the application before attending a job fair so i did. However, I mentioned I volunteered at a game from 2001-the present for Alpine Festival in Lake Zurich so I have experience handling money, interacting with customers, etc.
