Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

^Which is fine, but not across the WHOLE midway. I guess we'll have to see how it turns out. Any opinions as to whether they might replace ALL of Eagle's line or just part of it? Because the whole thing could use some work.

Hopefully the entire line will be worked on. The part after you go over the service road is really messed up. Also, if they don't add a couple new queues somewhere, it is going to overflow severely during Fright Fest and right before the Read To Succeed tickets expire.

^ Probably not. Shapiro said that 3 Thomas and 3 Wiggles sections would be going into 6 different parks. All 3 Wiggles sections have been determined this year (GAm, GAdv, NE), so I imagine that Thomas will be making his way into parks next year unless other parks in the chain have not unveiled their plans yet.

The Wiggles World preview video makes the Big Red Car ride look a lot like the Raceway/old time cars. Could this just be a retheming?

And didn't there used to be a plane ride in Hometown park until they moved that upcharge attraction there?

And a rethemed eatery.

So basically all that's new is a ship play area, a splash fountain and kiddie tea cups.

Sounds like a cheap addition, but they'll probably market it a ton.

That being said, my 2.5 year old will probably love it.

They're not retheming raceway and their not reusing the plane ride for wiggles.

So, any ideas on how AA's queue will be now? Since as of right now it cuts the tent right down the middle, and being this is going to be a new themed area, I doubt they shall leave the queue inside the tent at all, so any guesses?

^I can't seem to figure it out. Knowing Six Flags though, they might just rap the line around towards the Southwest Territory....THEY BETTER NOT...but that's the only plan i can see being simple enough to do.

I don't see how it would be hard to re-locate the entrance to Eagle. All you need is a long narrow pathway to the ride.

They can easily put the entrance just to the left of Dare Devil Dive.

They don't need the zig-zag queue line anymore, they haven't needed it for over a decade.

^Well, actually I think they do need to add to the line. If you think about it, most summer weekends, the line is on the bridge. Especially if only one side is open. In this case, they would be cutting it very close in terms of the likeliness of it overflowing. Overflowing in such a crowded area (lots of kids, new section, busy food court, close rides) would be a bad thing and important to prevent. Also, since Eagle is such a big ride in our park, it would be disappointing to not have some kind of enterance plaza for it, so that should be kept in mind as well.

I still don't see it being an issue. Sure, once in awhile the line overflows but not on a consistent basis.

If they want to add some zig-zag queues, they can easily install some in the area where you get to the bottom of the stairs after you cross over the maintenance path and railroad tracks. Plenty of room there.

Hey guys. lol American Eagle doesn't need zig zag line. Look at Viper. Viper used to have them, and they were using them, and now? It did overflow on midways but only on bussy weekands, just like bull's line did.

Yes but when people see vipers line at the entrances they assume at least an hour when it's really only about 20 minutes if they've got a grouper out. Eagle needs queues...so does viper! Are you listening six flags management?

Am I listening to SF management? No, hehehe they don't know how to run park, why would I listen hehehehe, LOL BTW If people were smart they would noticed Viper zig zag disapeared, lol So they would think the line is shorter, lol. People that visit Six Flags are so ignorant, and that makes them visit 6 coasters in one day instead of all 12. And much more complains. Hehehe.
SO going on back to thread. What do you guys think American Eagle entrance sign will look like? And since they will build some new path, do you guys think they will re do the existing?

I'm pretty sure the wait is more than 20 min, 'cause Viper's line is pretty wide and when it's full people tend to spand the whole width of the line.

With all the talk of Eagle's tent, I figured I would post some pictures that I took last season on May 23.

And this time, I created a gallery on the site, and uploaded them, so when my IP changes, I won't have to edit the post! :D

The first is the Entrance to the ride

[albumimg]1393[/albumimg]

Then, I have two pictures showing the line / area under the tent.

[albumimg]1394[/albumimg]

[albumimg]1395[/albumimg]

There is a lot of room under that tent. Keep in mind that back in 1976, this area was home to a Circus, and it had a grandstand on the back side of it. After the circus left, and before Eagle was built, I know the park had shows in this area. The stage was in the center where the games of skill / DDR machine was at.

So, I could see them using the whole area for Wiggles World.

Also, not only does the park have to think about the line to get ON Eagle, they have to think about the exit as well, as you exit into the tent. Wonder if that will change any, or if everyone who rides Eagle will be dumped right into the middle of Wiggles World!
