Question about season pass

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Carlo on March 10th, 2007, 10:51 pm
Last year and every year that I can remember it opened at 10 am and closes after everyone has left. In May is usual works that way. Then Later on it usually starts opening at 3pm and closes when everyone has left.

You have 3 options:

1. Purchase online at http://www.sixflags.com/parks/greatamer ... asses.html Then you will a season pass ticket that will get you into the park on your first visit. At some point during your first visit, you MUST go to the Season Pass processing center in Hometown Square to have your permanent Season Pass made.

2. Buy a One-Day general admission to SFGAm, then visit the Season Pass Processing Center in Hometown Square to update your ticket to a Season Pass.

3. Buy it at Jewel.

A few years ago (two now I think), you had the option of going to the park before the start of the seasn (like a week or two before), and get your pass "processed". This was a good thing, as you alreay had your season pass all set on opening day. You did not have to deal with the hassle of going to the season pass processing center.

Any idea if they plan on bringing this option back any time soon?

I think the online pass renewel has put a end to the days of going to the park before it opens and getting the passes processed. I think they figure most people can renew online and recieve a already processed pass in the mail.

Not only the online renewal, There is also the on-line activation program where they send people a not activated season pass, and then they go on-line to activate it. Also, Six Flags has switched to a new season pass processing system a few years ago that greatly increased the speed of processing season passes. So those season pass processing days are not really needed anymore.

You can buy a season pass at the park on any day of the season. It's usually more expensive to buy a season pass at the park, then it is to buy it in advance or online.

It is supposed to be processed at SFGAm before you use it at any other park. If your planning to go to SFKK on May 4th, I suggest contacting Guest Relations, or calling the Season Pass hotline ASAP.

It's $50 for 1 Season Parking Pass.

$15 for Daily parking.

If you buy your parking pass the first day you are there, you can usually bring your parking stub in and get $15 off the $50 parking pass.

I have a question of my own. Instead of making my own topic, i decided to put it here. Does the Bring a Friend For Free work for Opening Day? What about the day after? Also, if I order it online, when will I get the book of coupons? Thanks in advance

I believe you get the book of coupons on opening day once you go to the park and process your season pass.

The bring a friend thing, I THINK (please do not quote me on this), is only valid on selected days. Either that or you get a certain amount of passes inside the savings book.

:D I bought my season pass online during the off-season, with the parking option. Gotta save the green for all the times Im going to be there this year. I got a "letter" with all the payment info on it.

My question is do I still pay for parking the first day or can I pre-register my card and get it before I go in or will I be "refunded" my initial parking costs? I LOVE SFGAm.  :D 8)
Is 2009 the last page in Chapter 10?

Anyone know about the Parking Pass for 07? On the site, I can't get one with a renewed pass, but if I go for the regular pass, I can add 1 to my pass for an extra $50. Last year you could get discounts if you purchased more than 1 pass. Anyone know?

Its probably the same but it will most likely need to be done at the park. I'm not 100% sure though.

Even though you said please, I'm still going to quote you.

That is correct. The bring a friend for free days are on specific days only. Check your coupon book to find out the days or call guests services. Please keep in mind though that the bring a friend days are VERY busy. So come early. Last year it rained on one of the bring a friend days which kept the crowed down but most of them are very busy.

And to those of you asking about pass processing. They don't always stay open until closing time. Usually you can go to guest services and they can process you there. But there might be a long wait time so try to go during the day to pass processing
