Maybe they could cram Astroworld's old Ultra Twister into the hill Shockwave's parts sat. Or a S&S Squirrel Zipper in Yukon Territory would be awesome. The U.S. still hasnt got one of these last I heard.

I absolutely LOVE the screamin squirrel idea!!! Especially with the theming i've witnessed from the previous installation over seas, it would blend extremely well in Yukon Territory. I also still want to emphasize my idea of having a Roller Soaker replace the SSA spot, therefore bridging the gap between our already free water park and the rest of the park. And since a ride like that sort of needs its own spot, that gate seperating that area from the rest of the park would serve wonders. Just an idea, but i think it would be a useful addition.

Uhh What is Giant Drop?

Giant Drop is a ride that slowly lifts you up before dropping you. I meant to say that it would be cool if the park had a ride that shot you skyward before dropping you at -4Gs. But I heard that Six Flags is selling most of their freefalls anyhow.

I never knew that Paramount sold Clipper and kept Loggers Run. I guess I was wrong. But I still think there wouldn't be enough room for a family coaster with Ragin' Cajun and V2 in the way. That is unless they removed the picnic area. Then there wouldn't be anymore Necropolis.

Technically, we don't really need that big of a picnic grove to begin with (save for Necropolis).

That is one of the biggest picnic groves I have ever been to in a park.

The first flying coaster (Stealth) was constructed at PGA after the removal of Yankee Clipper.

Ragin Cajun and V2 are not in the way if SFGAm were to remove one of the flumes and construct a custom layout coaster.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

^^ i agree i think the park has enough water rides considering it has its own water park take out all the water rides except for river rapids and maybe splash water falls because i see that get busy sometimes when its hot and a family wants to cool down without changing into a swimsuit. the park should get rid of splahwaterfalls and make a better ride off of it like Knott's berrt farm's huge drop on its water ride perilous plunge now that would be fun. they could call it something like splashwater fall's revenge or something and could take out splashwater falls and put a better higher drop water ride in its place. keep roaring rapids though because that ride is also popular. i mean think about it all the park needs is two water rides a rapids and a log for families that wish not to visit hurricanne harbor. so they could take out the other water rides like loggers run since we have the waterpark.

second of all I don't think we are getting a coaster family related or not anytime soon but i am just guessing. it would be nice to have a roller coaster thats a nice size. and with giant drop it is so short of a ride of course it what we like is the drop. but i like bull because it has more drops common sense. And sometimes i just say forget giant drop the line can be so long sometimes. keep it because it can be popular but sometimes i never ride it because its such a short ride for its long line and its cars didn't work.

^ and ^^

Having a water park is no reason to take out all of the theme park water rides. A water slide is completely different from a flume ride.

yeah but we don't need three flume water rides especiallialy when there are two right next to eachother. take out the two and leave splashwater falls and river rapids and if they wanna build a good water ride biuld a perilous plunge from knotts berry farm

Amen to that.

I say it's better having 4 water rides in the park rather than 1 or 2. There's variety, plus if the park only had 1 or 2 the lines would probably be bigger. It's more convenient to have 4.

^^ Splashwater Falls is NOT a flume. It is a shoot-the-chutes. Flumes are long and have a layout. Splashwater Falls is just go up, drop, get off.

I think they should take out one of the flumes (take your pic) and put a water coaster in its place. Then we get the best of both worlds. We get to keep the water ride and we get a new coaster.

SFGAm is done with expanding into the parking lot. When they built Hurricane Harbor, that took up all of our excess parking spaces. Even now, I've seen the lot come very close to full. If they loose more spaces, it won't be good.

Even though they took all that space away with Hurricane Harbor, the lots has 500 additional more spaces then before. They way they reconfigured the lot and the addition on the 2nd lot made up for this. This was stated when they built Hurricane Harbor.

I agree with getting an interactive dark ride. I've seen families flock to those things like crazy at different parks like SFStl and Holiday World.

Only 200 more parking spaces not 500. And By the way Ragingbullrider that was perhaps the worst post I've ever read. Not only is it near impossible to figure out what you're saying, when you do say something you say it about six times.

Most of there unsed land is water, or swap like land. To extend the park they would have to build on top of the water, with something like Navy Pier. What they prombly are going to end up doing is taking out rides.

As much as I want a new coaster, I really would hate to see rides dissapearing just so a new coaster could be put in. Sure I'm not a fan of IW at all, but still I'd hate to see it go if the park was planning on taking it out in the future.

I think that that is a great idea! Another good coaster for winding through there would be a suspended coaster. If they are looking for more family coasters, that would be a good one. Just think of Iron Dragon at Cedar Point winding through the log flumes.

Also, there may be extra parking spaces, but given that the park has a possibility of a growing attendance, i think those spaces are necessary.

yeah, even worse than a post you should've edited is a post saying you should edit it that needs editing.

Now as for future coasters, Shapiro sid none for a few years. Both Flumes generate lines when they're open, so my guess is they're staying. The next one will probably be in Picnic Grove, maybe Yukon Territory, or even maybe even in Hurricane Harbor, perhaps something like Typhoon at SFNE.

Well after reading this handy issue of Amusement Today...

Gerstlauer is almost finished testing their compact Euro Fighter, first one goes to a park in France I think?

Anyways, it looks like a pretty decent coaster, seems like a good idea to me.

97 Degree Drop, Loop, Immelman, Heartline Roll, and a helix.

One thing is...capacity. 850pph. :(

Footprint is only 196 x 124 ft though.

the euro fighters look really cool, more than 90 degrees would cause for an interesting ride. isn't the ride going in at dollywood supposed to be a euro fighter?
i want my triple play back

Dive Machines are only thrilling once. Not to mention they're kind of obsolete with coasters such as Maverick and Euro-Fighters with +90degree dops.
