Those are some really good ideas you have! It would be so much more entertaining to watch some sort of show while waiting for a ride, rather than that lame TV system they have.

I'm really excited about the Pictorium. It's really think its been in the dumps lately with shows almost as a bad as a highschool documentary students are forced to watch. (Well maybe not that bad) A "4d" show would be excellent, especially on a hot day...
Also, in the next few years, some more flat packages would be perfeclty fine. That's what I loved about Mardi Gras, the new flats. It gives people who don't want to ride the coasters a thing to do.
I dont know, 4-D shows are usually like 5-10 mins long.
I like the IMAX just cause you can get nearly a full hour of sleep in an AC'd building in the middle of the day. Sucks with the new chairs though in there, the old puke orange ones were far more comfortable and easier to sleep in (though granted they were nasty dirty and in bad shape)
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073
What do you think the new commericials will look like now? Do you think theyll be like just how they were before, without Mr. Six? Or will they be focusing more families than thrills?
No matter how hard it is...Never EVER give up. The real failure is those who dont try.

I think our park has enough flats to cover SFOG, SFStL, and SFMM for goodness sakes. I've never to SFMM, but I don't think they have a lot of flats. I would add that Scooby-doo ride instead of four other flats to our park. I think our park really has enough flats that are not as much thrilling as teens would hope in the park already though. In my opinion, there has to be a balance. You don't want to lose the 1400 people in line for RB or BTR. Yet NOT adding more thrills to the park will do it.
Our park has Condor, Triple Play, Hometown Fun Machine, Great American Raceway, Fiddler's Fling (beats me why alot of teens won't ride this), Whirlgig, BEB, Chubasco (except Fright Fest), Ricochet, Columbia Carousel, The Orbit (again puzzled why hardly any teens), River Rocker, STT (mixed even though more non-teens), Jester's Wild Ride, East River Crawler, Train, and the water rides not in HH are pretty much mixed.
The "thrililng flat rides" that many teenagers go on in my opionion are KC, Revolution the Ride, Rue Le Dodge (half and half I'm guessing: I don't go on it enough to tell you for sure.)Giant Drop, and the water rides. So, if it's not a rollercoaster, it's usually a limited number of flats it seems to me (in my opinion) that a teen will go on.
With family rides coming into the park, that means that teens might come into park anymore which is bad. There are about 10 rollercoasters to serve the teens needs along with these three flats and water rides. Stargate SG-3000 can be included too. Thus, my conclusion is that there are alot more non-teen flats in the park already. If you are not going to be adding rollercoasters in the future, the park still needs another Revy, GD, KC, or Stargate to satisfy the teens.
The point is that SF is full to brim with flats. SFGAm has tons and tons compared to other parks in my opinion. I'm not going to declare that everyone of them is good though like the Trailblazer which I think stinks.

as far as he said, We need to reduce lines by having ALL Trains running at all times, will that include water rides? and will this go INTO affect at all parks?
If Stargate goes to make room for the waterpark, converting the IMAX to a 4-D would make a lot of sense.
If it were up to me, I'd take out all the games and put in Scooby Doo Ghostblasters in place of the mega carnival across from American Eagle (whatever that is called).
I say we need to Add ALOT more rides that are great for familys and little children but not in one area all around the park so they dont feel like there at a little kid area of SF

I got to ask, what is wrong with the Trailblazer? In case you can't tell, it is my favorite flat in the park.
I think that Shapiro is on the right track with our park, he knows that we don't need a lot of family flats, but rather kiddy flats. Seriously, if I had a kid, I would just take him to kiddieland if you consider how much you pay to get in with what you get for your money. It is this attitude that he is trying to prevent, so I don't have a problem with that.
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter

They would never do that in a million years. They would take out Stargate before they get rid of those games. The place I thought that would go for that Ghostblasters is right where the Hometown Fun Machine (move it) and the one or two buildings next to it.

If I were to put in SDGB, I would put it in Yukon. I realize it would kill the yukon theming but that's mostly dead already. I would Take Down Cartoon Cabin, Claimjumpers, and Snow Caps. Put SDGB against the Lake, and build a new shop to replace Snow Caps Called "Mystery Inc." and a new stand to replace Claimjumpers of course called "Scooby Snacks" Clearly, I've given this some thought...
A lot of my friends, they hate heights, but love being whipped around on flats. When they walk around the park, they find themselves bored rather quickly. As I said earlier in the topic, we could use another flat package. It's cheap, and if we get a decent package, boasting of 5-10 new rides should get people coming, or atleast keep them in.
Binks, if it had to go in Yukon, I would put it in place of Wilderness Theater. However, Wilderness Theater has a lot of potential as a location for a character show. PGA already uses it for this purpose.
The more I read what Shapiro has to say. the more I am liking this guy. Who knows what the possibilties will be once the chain is out of debt. I think we are going to see a vastly different Great America within the next 2-3 years, and I for one, can't wait to see the changes.
Do they even use Wilderness theater much any more?
They used to use it for Gospel Fest and Joyfest but i don't even think they did this year. Meanwhile I imagine it will be used this year becasue of all the new Entertainment stuff this year.
