Better Security

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby LaTiNoObSeSeDSFGAm on January 23rd, 2006, 12:13 am
I bet you anything those line jumpers where rebels or fakes trying ot be cool haha jpjp lol

But anyways I think your missunderstanding what im trying to say here Twixmix. Well alot of people dont say nothing to linejumpers because they dont want to say nothing but some do and that starts fights whenpeople talk back to each other. No matter where it is you cant stop line jumpers...and stop refering to me like if im the one line jumping...thats why we should have better secuirty in the park lines so they can keep in eye out in the lines and make sure NOBODY cuts the line. And if you dont understand than im not even going to bother...

There were like 15 people that line jumped at Iron Wolf. No one even saw them do it, so I was like WTF! I wanted to same something, but I didnt want to start a fight and then get kicked out of the park.

I'm saying fights DO break out over silly things like line jumping. All it takes is a hot day and long waits to make a steamed guest. And it doesn't take much for two steamed guests to start a fight.

I never said that you were a line jumper. Point out where I said that.

Here's my point: Is it worth risking your safety to stop a line jumper? No. Let security deal with it rather than dealing with it yourself.

And thats why security should be in the lines to stop the line jumpers...put it together.

Andy ou said there is no fights at sixflags unless you ( refering to me ) make it happen but whatever this is the point. The point is that there should be secuirty sitting in the lines watching the line jumpers and stopping them ( and other fights ) so that nothing will happen to other.

Just like Zjohn said that noone saw the linejumpers cut in IW, well the security is there to catch that...not the guests thats not there job! There job is to enjoy the park with minimum complaints as possible!!!

Once again, this all goes back to SAFETY. Do I need to spell it out for you? You said it yourself, there isn't enough SAFETY in queues. We're not discussing security here, we're talking SAFETY.

Don't try to get technical and argue that by saying you, I meant you specifically. If you couldn't figure out that I meant it in the passive voice (whoever the subject is, which in this case would be everyone in general), go take a basic English class.

Security is safety and if thats not basic enough for you then I think you need to take basic English dude! I should just stop where im at because my point is basically right so I should stop talking to you because that just makes my IQ go down

Your point is basically right? Your point needs to actually be right.

Nice comeback, too. Not. "I think you need to take basic English dude!" Is that the best you can do?

Security and safety are not the same thing. Safety is a condition you are in (no, not you specifically ) free from harm. Security (I'm assuming this is what you meant by "security") is the actual team that enforces safety. Safety could mean anything: flooding, harmful gasses, fire, etc.

Your point is no where near right sorry.

This is how the argument started because of you, sadly:
Me: We need better safety so therefore better security...
You: Safety and Security are different arg arg arg  ...
Me...Awkard silence
You...deep inside your feeling stupid

The point of that was to show that your arguing for a stupid reason. I said safety instead of secruity big woop! I hope you know that your the only one that noticed that, everyone else is posting their commetns.

We're the only ones posting because it's been less than an hour since my first post about this tonight. I'm the one posting facts while you act like a second grader posting fun little stories. Probably explains why you couldn't write a decent post with proper grammar if your life depended on it.

Im not the second grader, you must be immature calling me that. Look how many people posted their opinions on line jumping. I knew somebody would have to complain about my topic and it just had to be you, for nothing stupid. Noone caught that stupid idea of safety and secruity being different, they just posted what their thoughts were really about. I mean im sorry but you must have no life starting an arguemtn jsut because someone said safety and secuirty being hte same.

I just looked over my posts and there is nowhere in the begining where I said safety and secruity were the same...it wasnt utnil after you said that comment is wehre i compared the two. I havnt even used safety in the begining when i formed the topic. So basically you just started an argument no reason haha!

I should seriously stop while im ahead...

I'll keep this up as long as you'd like.

I said you acted "like" a second grader, never said you are one.
Use proper grammer: when you said "I knew somebody would have to complain about my topic and it had to be you, for nothing stupid," you're right, I'm not complaining about anything stupid.
You're keeping this arguement going as much as I am. So much for just me having no life. (I'd also like to point out that it's 12:28 in the morning, what else am I supposed to be doing, smoking pot?)

I think you should stop before you embarrase yourself.

The point of this topic is to discuss that Six Flags should establish better security, espicially throughout the lines so there would be no line jumping and fights. That is peoples safety and they should be at a park where there shouldnt be any fights since its going to be a "family enviorment."

Now if you think that im wrong and dont agree with me then maybe your a line jumper who got beat up by a six year old girl because you cut her and your mad so you try to relase your anger on me since you will never ever see me. sarcastic joke...

If the point of this topic is to discuss that Six Flags should establish better security, then why did you even bring up safety? Your original sentence read "There should be more security and safety along ride lines." Broken up, this would mean:
"There should be more security along ride lines."
"There should be more safety along ride lines."

I said there is no need for additional safety in ride lines, that the level of safety is completely adequate.

And, no, I'm not a line jumper. Never have been, and never will be.

Oh, and I think you should stop before you embarrass yourself.

Whatever I know im right and if that bothers you than your pathetic...and what kind of a nerd thinks correcting peoples spelling finds that hillarious?

Anyways I dont want my topic to get locked so im going to keep it going.

I think that the best security ( from what Ive seen ) is the waiting line to enter SFHH. When its full days I see 2-3 security gaurds strictly enforicng no linjumping. I remember seeing that they wouldnt let people leave to get food people. Once, I dont know what really happened, I dont know if the person left their personal stuff in line to save their spot...all I remember was seeing them get in trouble by security gaurd saying that "if you leave again they will get kicked out."

You just keep thinking that. No, it doesn't bother me, I just enjoy a good arguement on the forums every once in a while. If the boards were just a bunch of facts and no opinions, it'd be quite boring.

Oh, and I found your spelling to be ironic, not hilarious.

No, and no. I left, came back to this site to see if anyone else had posted in other topics. Since this one did have new posts (yours) I read it. Unfortunately, this topic is about the only thing that keeps showing up as new posts.
