Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
In 2004, I also think that the normal flags were flying around Columbia Carousel. I may be wrong, but that is what I remember.

I love the new logo, it's really classy. Great America, truely is a park with alot of class...and the corporate logo never did justice.

I think I will definitely buy a shirt for the 30th anniversary, I didn't know they did that. Sounds interesting.

Sounds cool, but i don't think it will be as big of a deal as the 25th anniversary. I would also want that shirt.

The 25th anniversary was in 2001 right? I don't remember it much at all. I just remember having first rides on most of the coasters there that year.

Actually, they celebrated it in 2000, does anyone know why?

Ok, I thought so. I remember going in 2000 (my first time) and stuff saying 25 years or whatever. I'm not sure why though.

Raging Bull or Vu and V2 didnt have anything to do with the anniversery right? You know, like special coasters built for the anniversery.

2000 would have been the parks 25th SEASON of operation. Technically 1977 was the one year anniversay. So 2001 would have been 25 YEARS
So this is the 30th Anniversary Season. 2007 will be the 30th Year of operation.[/i]

Nothing's been confirmed yet. It's on Screamscape so I won't believe it until I see actual proof.

^That's why we here at SFGAm are different from them at PGA. Originally, SFGAm and PGA were both Marriot's Great America and they both had similar rides and coasters, including the Turn of the Century and Willard's Whizzer. Now PGA has lost many of its old rides from when it used to be Marriott's Great America, while we still have a lot of them left to enjoy.
Go SFGAm!

I'm not sure if SFGAm will be selling much 30th anniversary merchandise. The entire Six Flags chain in focusing on the company's 45th annivsary.

Normally you can start finding it a week before the park opens, however, some people somehow manage to find them earlier.
