Even if all your clothes and EVERYTHING are in a locker? are you SOL?
Your clothes shouldn't be in a locker if you leave Hurricane Harbor
On Memorial Day, once I get into the park I'm going straight to Hurricane Harbor to wait for it to open, and going on Tornado first thing before lines get long I can't wait.
7,100 is HH park capacity!!! personally i think thats WAY TO HIGH!!! its packed and HORRIBLE!!!
Park capacity should be lowered severely!!! i dont know if anyone feels this way, but i usually OPT out to going to hurricane harbor becuase thats just to much time in line
They wouldn't necessarily expand. I'm talking about modernization. New park lights in Hometown Square. Renovated Eagle queue. Yankee Harbor theming overhaul.
Well if everyone comes to the park to get into Hurricane Harbor, wouldn't the money be better invested into Hurricane Harbor rather than other locations within the park? If more people want to get into Hurricane Harbor and not Great America they should look to expand Hurricane Harbor's capacity not Great America's.
I'm not talking about expanding anything. Capacity would stay the same. But areas of the theme park are starting to look run-down, and no one is going to want to visit a run-down looking theme park, except maybe teens who don't care and won't be spending much money either way or coaster enthusiasts that don't care about theming at all. If the park has excellent theming and is comfortable for guests to be in, they're willing to actually visit and spend money.
While that is very true, if people are waiting a long time to get into the waterpark I think money should be invested into that to help increase capacity. If people cannot get into the new and highly advertised waterpark they will be upset. That won't stop the park from upgrading other parts ( which is highly needed.) but something needs to be done if demand is much greater than the capacity.
Or multiple attractions to raise the attandance, they could put in a couple slides and such into the waterpark, and you have the attandance raised there.
By the way, we all find out exactly what SFGAm should be adding in 2006 tomorrow because tomorrow is No Coaster Con and they usually announce or tlak about their future plans for the upcoming season.
