okay, so just to make sure, I'm going for the first time this season on Thursday, can I bring a 15 off coupon (dropping the ticket price to $30), and upgrade for $49.99, paying a total of $79.99 plus tax? Will this work even though it is after May 30th? Thanks.

Ok my brother just saw a commercial saying season passes will be ending June 12th. What does that mean? This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/
The offer at Jewel (and SFGAm's website) on Season Passes, that was set to expire on May 30th, is now extended to June 12th.
Didn't they keep extending it last year too? I can't remember completely, but I think they did.
That is when the price is "supposed" to go up. But they have been saying this since the new years, and nothing has happened. Me thinks it's just to generate hype.
Bottomline is:
If you go to the park and pay $99.99 to buy a season pass, you are a fool. Plenty of ways to save money on them. I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
I just want to point out that SFGAm has a lot of rides compared to many other parks. I havn't been to SFMM, but I've heard that they don't have a big flat section at all. I've also heard terrible things about operations of rides.
SFOG can't get people in the park because they don't know what they are doing. They have 10 coasters and have less flats than SFGAm. Coasters are a lot more than flats though. SFStL doesn't have that many coasters compared to these other parks. They also don't have such an extensive line up of flats that SFGAm has. I don't think SFGAm has "as much" trouble attracting people compared to these other parks because they know what they are doing except when it comes to staffing!!!!! New things have made the price rise. HH, Mardi Gras, Revolution, SUF, D Vu', V2, and so on. "I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
