i've been on the second day and it wasnt THAT crowded but i've seen days where its less crowded. and to RagingBull914, i guess its ok, it CAN get boring after a while but thats only if u go on the same rides every time otherwise, its goodie
Once again depends on the weather... last year it was pretty cold and drizzling and is was DEAD. It was WONDERFUL. I just have a feeling that it will be warm this year with all of this crazy weather we are having. 80 today and 62 by Thursday... we'll have to see.
well the weather has been up and down since the last week of march, hopefully it'll be up for opening day, I'd like to not bring a sweatshirt and not freeze for doing that.
It's really hard to get bored going more than once a year. I just hate the days when every single ride is crowded, and up to full capacity. Demon has all the ques going along with Jester's having it's full capacity of five people in line .
I really don't expect SFGAm to be that crowded when it first opens for the reason that many people don't even realize that it's open. On top of that, you probably have some people thinking that all the rides won't be working, especially the new rides so they don't come. Lastly, the hours can detract people. People would rather have two more hours in June and July.
I hear ya... we went to SFGAM 43 times last season and never got bored. We saw cold, hot, freezing, rain, tornados, sunshine... you name it. The hot AND sunny days were the only extremly busy days that I saw. If it was just hot it was so-so, cold it was slow, but hot & sunny and the park was packed. I try to stay away from the nice weather days and go on the "doom and gloom" days
I am going to arrive at the park at 8:50 am, and be the first in line to get in the park. I will also be heading left to SUF for first ride front row. I cant wait for it to open. Single digits till it opens!!!
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
I hope this season will be as great as the last one. I know I get to go three times at least during the first few weeks, and my work scheduled a few group trips up there this summer. I can't wait!
Is there anything going on in any of the theaters on opening day? I know the Six Flags website says a lot of the shows don't open until at least mid-May. I was just wondering, because sometimes my poor stomach needs a break if the lines are too short. I used to be able to handle everything, and now unfortunately it's just down to rollercoasters, and even those make me queasy if I go on too many in a row. Guess that's what happens when you get old. Oh well.
